The school honours the sacrifice our servicemen & women made for our country & those who currently serve us during times of war & peace keeping. We pay homage to our ANZACs & share the sorrow of those who mourn the fallen. At dawn we remember their bravery - Lest We Forget.
Snr Constable West spoke to Yrs 4-6 about being safe online both in action & behaviour. He reinforced the importance of making respectful choices so we are trustworthy digital citizens responsibly enjoying being online. Students appreciated his presentation & important messages.
We will welcome all students back for Term 4 on Monday 9 October. Teachers are looking forward to greeting their students & hearing happy hellos with big smiles at 8:55am. We anticipate an exciting term ahead & are looking forward to working together with our students & families.

Gold, Gold, Gold! Congratulations to our bands for their skilled performances at ASBOF. They were incredible both on & off stage. Receiving gold rewards our bands for their continued persistence & determination to improve & succeed. We will hold fond memories of the ‘23 festival
After attending weekly rehearsals the Primary Proms Choir performed to tumultuous applause at the Sydney Town Hall in the mass choir. The concert was amazing and buzzed with excitement. The evening will hold memories forever. We’re appreciative that they proudly represented MPPS
We have many forever memories as we return from Canberra & thank our parents for providing us with the opportunity to venture and explore. We learnt about & also practised responsibility & independence for ourselves with consideration for others. We loved the trip & love home too
We finally made it to Questacon. The place of activity, exploring ideas and challenges. Lots to see, do and think. We started at the top and spiraled down the galleries cooperating, persisting and reflecting together. It was fun yet challenging to complete the tasks. Well done us
We are enjoying Canberra and the activities have been engaging with lots of learning but also fun. We get on the buses in the morning and go, go, go. We’ve been pleased with our students care for each other and courtesy at the venues. Lots to talk about when we get back home.
Our very energetic & excited dancers performed at the Hills Festival & Hawkesbury Eisteddfod. We were extremely proud of their skilled performances on stage & their patience backstage. The audience full of happy mums & dads, displayed their appreciation with thunderous applause.
Happy Father’s Day! Enjoy getting together and having family celebrations, as it’s your day dads. We know that you believe in us each and every day and we believe in you too. There are lots of huge hugs, kisses and enormous smiles waiting just for you, to show our love.
On Monday our Kindergarten students crept back into the school in the evening to enjoy the Library After Dark. Pyjamas were worn & students settled in comfortably to listen to favourite stories read by relaxed teachers. The library sparkled and parents enjoyed meeting each other.
Our K-2 students enjoyed their Sports Day this week with lots of fun and activity. Students ran races, joined in relays, jumped and balanced with lots of movement and exercise. There was encouragement from teachers and Year 6 leaders, huge smiles and celebration for all.
Kindergarten very excitedly celebrated their first 100 school days. Kindy danced, counted in many ways and created all things 100. We are very proud of our youngest safe, respectful and responsible learners, with many more than 100 very big, happy smiles. Congratulations Kindy!
Happy teachers are excited to welcome back our amazing MPPS students. We've missed you & are keen to see your beaming faces again. Years 1 - 6 students return Tuesday 31/1. Kindergarten start their very first day at big school Friday 3/2. We look forward to enjoying 2023 together

Our choir and dancers joined 5000 students from public schools across NSW at Schools Spectacular 2022. Our talented students were outstanding as they performed Creating the Magic. After many hours of rehearsal, students were rewarded with a showcase of a lifetime. Congratulations

Each year we celebrate children’s books & authors. Teachers & librarians highlight the importance of reading. We enjoyed a book parade with our students dressing as their favourite character. It’s not just children who like to dress up. Can you recognise your child’s teacher?
