Breaking: Boston College is finalizing a deal to hire UConn assistant Luke Murray as its next head coach, sources told @PeteThamel and @jeffborzello. Murray helped build back-to-back national champions at UConn and has established himself as an elite offensive tactician.

The #34 program honors the extraordinary legacy of Jim Skerl, a 1974 alumnus of @SIHSCleveland who led the school to the city basketball championship and returned to teach theology for 37 years. SIHS now awards exceptional individuals with the number 34, one of the school’s highest honors. Skerl died of pancreatic cancer at age 58 on October 23, 2014. buff.ly/466bb0A
