Work + Work + Work + Work + Work + Work + Work + Work + Work + Work + Work = f*ck all to show for it. Again. Just like last week. And the week before that. Sound familiar? Maybe the first image here resembles your mental state more often than you’d like to admit. If so, PLEASE keep reading. People don’t like to tell you this, but the truth is, every success is an overnight success. They don’t say it because it’s not the feel-good mental-masturbation that sells courses and keeps you strung along for the next click. But I can tell you the cold, hard truth because I have nothing to sell you, even if I wanted to. The funniest part about this reality is that how success works and how success is NOT linear is actually WAY more motivating. Why? Because it means all that time you think was wasted can be made up for in a matter of days. It means success isn’t locked behind some mythical dungeon of grinding and hard work. Work + Work + Work + Work × 10 Years = 🥴 Connecting Dots + Understanding Human Psychology + Proper Timing + Luck = 💰💰💰 I hate how cliché this sounds, but this is genuinely what I wish someone had told me when I started. It would have saved years of anxiety and that lost/hopeless/sinking feeling you may have right now. But the TL;DR is, success is more often than not a parabolic curve caused by connecting dots with a bit of luck, not a gradual incline of grinding and hard work over 10 years. Don’t believe me? Dig deeper than the first page of Google when researching the most successful people in your field, and the trend won’t be hard to notice. There’s a reason you see 17-year-olds driving Lamborghinis with supermodels back to their penthouses with infinity pools on your timeline, while hundreds of others (who are MORE than capable) are still “grinding” and trying to get their lives together into their 40s. So no, you are not crazy. You're not wrong for feeling hopeless. Stop listening to your broke, sick and depressed friends for guidance. Please don't give up. Please keep going. I promise you it's all worth it. ...but only if you don't give up before you get there. 🖤🙏

@Adidotdev Well that would be sad. But it wouldn't affect our business I would just go right back to paying people in 3rd world countries to do it for me like we used to, but this time I would name one of them Claude

Developers — brutal honesty: If AI disappeared tomorrow… how confident are you that you could still do your job at the same level? • 100% fine • Slightly slower • Struggling a lot • I’m finished 💀

> walk around your city catching pokémon > game asks you to scan a fountain. sure why not > 30 billion scans later > niantic owns a more detailed map than any government > sells game for $3.5B > spins off a spatial AI company > your pokéwalk is now classified infrastructure > delivery robots now navigate using your walks > you were never the player. you were the product.

I can’t even stand using 5.3 instant for work, let alone for basic requests. Honestly what was the point of 5.3 instant?!

@meetMrajgor Deleting it and installing Codex and using the models that feel like black magic for writing code, don’t lecture you about how evil you are, and costs 25% the price. Easily my biggest time save.

@Polymarket “adult mode” freaking out advisers is not the flex people think it is. the harder you push the model toward “unfiltered,” the more you’re testing safety + liability + brand trust in public. this is going to get messy fast.

JUST IN: OpenAI’s long-awaited adult mode is reportedly “freaking out” its own advisers.

@thsottiaux Now the final move is letting you choose which model to use for orchestrators and sub tasks individually…

Yesterday we launched subagents in Codex. Today we released GPT-5.4-Mini, which is SoTA in its category. Coincidence or genius move?

@thsottiaux Simply integrating a robust browser/computer use testing workflow would give Codex an even better lead than it already has. Don’t need anything new, innovative or flashy, just ROBUST and reliable.

@melvynx Even the first version of Codex, let alone the current models, felt like 1-2 full model generations ahead of Opus. To the point that I genuinely thought when developers would praise Opus vs GPT/Codex I assumed it was satire for a long time.

This post by The White House includes graphic imagery while using MY SONG from 7 years ago. Without my permission. "Hot Like A Parked Car" by Yung Thot only has 1,151 plays, yet the US Government somehow found it and decided to use it in the most awful way. I posted my song in the replies for you all to hear for yourself. I could use some legal advice on what I can do in this situation.
