This is genuinely awful to see and hear. I hope @JoStevensLabour has a plan to mend this now.

Enjoyed Kemi’s quip about free breakfast clubs being a defining legacy of this Labour government. When the Tories deride breakfast clubs, it shows how out of touch they still are. A £450 saving is a lot for working families. Easing the morning rush makes a big difference.
The Labour Party@UKLabour

Our Labour government has started rolling out free breakfast clubs to every primary school in England. Here is Michela's story 👇

Naz Shah’s loyal address was moving and funny and cultured and serious, a reaffirmation of all the good things about the UK’s parliamentary democracy. In these chaotic times it was importantly hopeful

Last week’s elections showed the populist right on the march. If the government is to recover and defeat the threat of Reform, it will need new ideas and a bold offer to inspire hope and reunite its electoral coalition. The Fabian Society has been shaping the future of the left since 1884. We are a socialist society committed to building a fairer economy and a more equal country. We believe that ideas matter, and that change is possible. As a member, you will: 🔴 Receive Fabian Review, our quarterly magazine, and regular pamphlets on the big issues of our time 🔴 Access an exciting range of events 🔴 Get a vote in Labour Leadership elections

I totally agree with this by Al Carns: “What is the point of Labour if it does not represent Sheffield, Stoke…Swansea and Aberdeen? What is the point of the Labour Party if it cannot replace despair and frustration with hope, stability and purpose? thetimes.com/article/d13bf1…

The Brexit Derangement Syndrome is off the scale at the moment. Reform (formerly known as the BREXIT PARTY) just swept to victory across working class areas. Response? Oh, it’s obviously time to rejoin the EU… Do these people even believe in democracy?

@CharlieM2024 Our ability to communicate is the issue, the workers rights bill for one is an amazing achievement but nobody knows about it. We just need to rethink our policy strategy and get a true overarching story to go with it.

@MatthewWest2004 Fair enough I think the idea Labour is getting too London-centric is borne out by some of the local election results too

We are gonna see the end of Labour in its heartlands if we continue to push the narrative of the EU being the magic cure for our issues.

@CharlieM2024 It’s a massive factor in constituencies in the North East like where I’m from. 2019 proved it with the shattering of the Red Wall by Johnson and it still comes up on doors. It’s what our priorities are and if we can no longer speak to our traditional base then what is our party.

@MatthewWest2004 Is it really true that we drive voters to Reform when Labour talks about Europe The only reason I ask is because if is true then I feel like we're just stuck either losing people to Reform or to the Greens/ Lib Dems (since presumably some people do want to talk Europe again)

If the leadership changes it changes but Keir can certainly continue but he has to change our policy strategy. We need to get back in touch with the working classes and empower them economically and politically.

Your party is joining with the Conservatives to block house building, which is going to increase house value... So this is performative bollocks. Tell your leader to pay his tax.
The Green Party@TheGreenParty

Our mayoral, council and Senedd campaigns were rooted in fighting to end the housing affordability crisis, and voters have spoken. We need action to end rip-off rents now. So newly elected Green Mayors @ZoeGarbett and @LiamShrivastava alongside Carla Denyer MP have written to the government to demand a Rent Controls Bill in the King’s Speech tomorrow.
