@exRhenum ik heb je al antwoord gegeven: - ultiem omdat de Heilige geest dit getuigt - omdat deze boeken vrijwel unaniem door de kerk erkent worden - omdat de boeken uit het NT geschreven zijn door apostelen (oftewel ooggetuigen van Jesus) - omdat het OT (66 b.) door Jezus al erkent werd

@exRhenum The difference is that the Catholic Church included extra books not found in the Hebrew Bible, which the early Jewish community did not recognize as authoritative, whereas the Protestant canon is based on what was historically consistently recognized as authoritative.

@exRhenum It is fairly easy to determine if you look at the history and the content of the books. In addition, I believe that ultimately the Holy Spirit testifies within us that this is God’s trustworthy Word.
