@Mattsborough Love it! It’s one of the only places where the trees actually come into play for the pros

@AmyInCheeseLand Did @WesleyLHuff push back on this at all?
English

@in_defensible @9mmsmg You can thank the Democrats for that.
English

@9mmsmg I'm sure I'm badly paraphrasing a much more elegant expression of this, but:
the American dream today is just to make enough money to get away from other, poorer Americans.
English

You don't necessarily go to an expensive gym for the amenities and equipment. You go because it's expensive enough where it's prohibitive. It's too expensive for most idiots. You get to escape the nightmare world and just be surrounded by mostly normal and civil humans.
If you filled a gym with the best equipment in the world and priced it like Planet Fitness, it would be a nightmare. It would be unusable.
It's part of the reason people shop at Erewhon. Their food isn't AMAZING, definitely not for how it's priced, but you're paying for what you're not getting. You're not getting gigantic women shopping in their pajamas. You're not getting people stealing or fighting with the staff. It's your little vacation from the chaos outside. Your little expensive utopia.
It's awful that society is such a mess that you have to pay more to live in civility, if only for a moment. Your own personal little escape.

Get the yardage to the back of the green and play that distance.

This isn’t fast….it should be considered “par” for pace of play. If this seems fast…you are slow.

@MikeG04782097 @jonharris1989 Of course. There have always been Christians that believe in unbiblical teachings. Jesus warned us about that.
English

@Mattsborough @jonharris1989 There have always been Christians who believed in pre-mill and some sort of view of the church being taken before the day of the Lord. The minority maybe but they were still there.
English

@MikeG04782097 @jonharris1989 Left Behind doctrine was not taught throughout Church history. It's a modern myth invented by men who are no better than Joseph Smith.
English

@Mattsborough @jonharris1989 Those books did not damage, it was already the majority view among evangelicals prior to their release and I would side with Pre-Trib, Pre-mil over preterism ANY DAY!!!!

@bendellwerry @ADRoblesMedia Weak. Under my regime rap wouldn't be allowed to exist.

@f_lindblom I had one pair of spikeless shoes and had a slip one day that scared me half to death. Never again.

@Golfingbrock I'll never understand why golfers say that. We play the greatest game.

Pay attention now!
Joe legal works in construction, has a Social Security number and makes $25.00 per hour with taxes deducted.
Jose illegal also works in construction has no Social Security number and makes $15.00 per hour cash, under the table.
Ready?... now pay attention....
Joe legal: $25.00 per hour × 40 hours = $1,000.00 per week or $52,000.00 per year. Now, take 31% away for State and Federal taxes. Joe legal now has $31,231.00.
Jose illegal: $15.00 an hour × 40 hours = $600.00 per week or $31,200.00 per year. Jose illegal pays no taxes. Jose illegal now has $31,200.00.
Joe legal pays medical and dental insurance with limited coverage for his family at $600.00 per month, or $7,200.00 per year. Joe legal now has $24,031.00.
Jose illegal has full medical and dental coverage through the State and local clinics and emergency hospitals at a cost of $0.00 per year. Jose illegal still has $31,200.00.
Joe legal makes too much money and is not eligible for food stamps or welfare. Joe legal spends $500.00 per month for food or $6,000.00 per year. Joe legal now has $18,031.00.
Jose illegal has no documented income and is eligible for food stamps, WIC and welfare. Jose illegal still has $31,200.00.
Joe legal pays rent of 1,200.00 per month or $14,400.00 per year. Joe legal now has $9,631.00.
Jose illegal receives $500.00 per month Federal rent subsidy. Jose illegal pays out that $500.00 per month or $6,000.00 per year. Jose illegal still has $31,200.00.
Joe legal pays $200.00 per month or $2,400.00 per year for car insurance. Some of that is uninsured motorist insurance. Joe legal now has $7,231.00.
Jose illegal says, "We don't need no stinkin' insurance."... and still has $31,000.00.
Joe legal has to make his $7,231.00 stretch to pay utilities, gasoline.. etc.
Jose illegal has to make his $31,200.00 stretch to pay utilities, gasoline and what he sends out of the country every month....
Joe legal now works overtime on Saturdays or gets a part time job after work.
Jose illegal has nights and weekends off to enjoy with his family.
Joe legal's and Jose illegal's children both attend the same elementary school.
Joe legal pays for his children's lunches while...
Jose illegal's children get a government-sponsored lunch.
Jose illegal's children have an after school ESL program.
Joe legal's children go home.
Now, when they reach college age...
Joe legal's kids may not get into a State school and may not qualify for scholarships, grants or other tuition help, even though Joe has been paying for State schools through his taxes, while...
Jose illegal's kids go to the, 'head of the class' because they are a minority.
Joe legal and Jose illegal both benefit from the same police and fire services, but Joe paid for them and Jose did not.
Do you get it, now?
If we vote for or support any politician that supports illegal aliens,... we are part of the problem.
Its way PAST time to take a stand for America and Americans!

@shadybiev That is probably the hardest hole on planet earth. Zero room for error.
English

@PGATOURSMartin Playing H-town is grueling. Right when you think you're out of the maze Pete throws you back in. Most holes are best played by amateurs with nothing more than a 7i.

I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to call Harbour Town one of the most influential designs in the history of U.S. golf architecture. It ushered in a new era.
“In an ironic way, my design concepts at Harbour Town were influenced by the architecture of Robert Trent Jones,” Dye once wrote, “in that I took Mr. Jones’ ideas and headed in the opposite direction!”
Harbour Town was the first Dye (and Jack Nicklaus) design to host a PGA TOUR event. The radical design, and famous advisor, brought a new level of attention to course architects. Deane Beman’s love of Harbour Town is the reason he selected Dye to design TPC Sawgrass, which increased Dye’s notoriety exponentially.
“I simply wanted to establish my individual identity by building courses with design features unlike those seen on other modern American courses,” Dye wrote in his autobiography. “Instead of long tees, flowing fairways and elevated, large greens, I deliberately chose to design multiple tee positions, small- to medium-size greens, undulating fairways, long waste areas and abrupt, steep pot bunkers.”
