It’s crazy how many people were calling for Zach Wilson’s job just a couple of hours ago.
- It was a wet & sloppy game
- He faced the most pressure of his career
- The fumbles were not his fault
- Zero interceptions
- Multiple dropped balls in big moments
Zach overcame a fuck ton today without getting flustered or losing focus. No QB would have done well in Zach’s shoes today, only a few would have gotten the win. #PlanZ
Francisco Lindor might be my all-time favorite #Mets SS. Not only is he having a spectacular season with numbers to back it up, he just goes out there and *plays* day in, day out. Even off the field, he displays a ton of leadership qualities and faces the media every night after a win or loss.
We’re very fortunate to have him

Even with Aaron Judge’s 62-homer season last year, Pete Alonso still leads the majors in home runs since he debuted in 2019. He now has 155 to Judge’s 143 over that span. Next closest is Kyle Schwarber at 131.
Steve Cohen’s message to Edwin Díaz was something like, “We’re going to do everything we can to get you better and take care of you.”
At Díaz’s home, there’s a trainer, nutritionist and personal chef, courtesy of Cohen and the Mets. theathletic.com/4321678/2023/0…
