@Madcapper8340 I’ve never seen an era’s defense as exaggerated as the 90’s… they had harder fouls for sure, but only on select few a game if that lol as per a play by play basis i mean there’s barely any screens barely any movement and players were slower

Hockey is way easier on your joints than it is let’s say nba players on hardwood. No one is comparing toughness to nba players to hockey players
It’s about the pace of play/athleticism now compared to previous eras and if you can’t see that idk what else to say

@MattyChucks Because hockey players play a much faster (and physical) sport and play 82 games? Today's NBA players just don't have mental and physical toughness when compared to any other professional sport.
Not to mention any form of the slightest contact in today's game is a foul now.
