When I left the arena after Game 6 Thursday, I had a great feeling that I would be seeing @MattyCord again next week. I didn’t want to jinx anything so I said “I’ll see you soon.” As happy as I am, Matt Cord deserves this. The legendary Sixers PA announcer is retiring after 28 seasons. He won us over with his energetic style including iconic intros for Allen Iverson “A 6-foot guard from Georgetown” and “Joel The Process Embiid” I CAN’T WAIT TO SEE MATT ON FRIDAY FOR GAME 3.
