"Pastor, can we get lunch? I'd like to talk about..."
This helps him assess the urgency, and it may reduce unnecessary anxiety between now and the meeting.

I was thinking about this a couple weeks ago when our church was lined with moms and dads standing up around the whole back of the sanctuary surrounded by and holding children.
At this point, I consider rustling, fussing, fidgety sounds of children to be a formal part of Reformed liturgy and a joyful noise to the LORD.
I hear the delayed echos of 3 year olds who are modeling reciting the Creed like a syncopated melody in the worship. Truly spectacular.

Have we trained a generation to love the optics instead of the reality?

5 questions that help me gauge my spiritual health:
Am I giving myself to intentional times of prayer & scripture?
