@CayofArsenal Both are pulling at each other's shirt, Gabriel let's go a second earlier, but VAR can see the whole incident. Cant penalise one when both are doing it. If Haaland's goal is disallowed for a pull then Gabriel's pul is also a foul, so no goal but City get a penalty.

🚨 Does this goal still annoys you ⚪️ ⚖️ The Law (Law 12 – Fouls and Misconduct). A direct free kick is awarded if a player “holds or pulls an opponent.” ✅️Grabbing the shirt ✅️Pulling the arm or body ✅️Using hands to restrain movement But ...

An example why it's harder for London Clubs to win the Premier League; This season, Man City & Man Utd played 2 Manchester Derbies, Liverpool played 2 Merseyside Derbies, while Arsenal, Chelsea & Tottenham would have played 12 London Derbies.... Just throwing it out there 🤷🏻‍♂️

@NDows39 I mean it was so much a non-red card that it wasnt even shown on the BBC TV highlights. It was such an unimportant & non controversial "incident" they didnt show it at all, didnt discuss it. Give it up, it wasnt even close to being a foul.

@_Afcbanks No as you cant be perfectly level on every metric. You're behind on head to head record. Even if head to head was even then there'd be no shared title. It'd be a one off playoff on a neutral ground, winner takes all. If its even on points, GD, and Goals scored City win the league

When the season concludes and we're perfectly level on every metric, do we end up sharing the Premier League title?

@PatGunner19 @9zerobillion @MrCryptUtd In their hands means it doesnt matter what anyone else does. It DOES matter what Arsenal do. If they win 4-0 on Saturday theyre top & City, having had zero games, go from only needing a 1-0 win to remain top to needing a 4 goal win.

@Matty_West64 @9zerobillion @MrCryptUtd Goal difference is dead even right now. If it ends that way, the next separator is goals scored. Which they are currently leading. If that's a tie, then it would be head to head matchups. Which they have. It's in their hands.

If Arsenal later wins this league, does that means City bottled it? 🤔

@ArtetaEra Because encouraging a team to attack rather than defend results in more goals, more entertainment.

Why is attacking prowess given an edge over defensive brute in a title race when both are equally important aspects of the game?

@MrCryptUtd Useless logic, it’s currently in city’s hand They’ll become bottlers if Arsenal rehijack it from them

@SMalik86 It goes to goals scored after goal difference, but if goals scored is also the same then yes City win as they got 4 points v Arsenal to Arsenal's 1 point.

Am I right that even if Arsenal and City end the season with the same points and goal difference that the title goes to city cos of the head-to-head points?

@Molly_AFC Whoever scored the most goals wins it. If goals scored is the same then City are champions, as the next thing they use to separate the sides is head to head results, which is in City's favour.

@mufcjap @_Paash_ Cherki has pretty much the same goals/assists as Fernandes, from fewer games, and without penalties.

People are talking about Nico O’reilly winning the YPOTY and I’m here thinking of names that have been objectively better than him. Why is he not in contention for the actual POTY? Cos he’s young?

@_Paash_ Kroupi from Bournemouth could well win YPOTY. Only 19 & hes got 10 league goals. As for POTY theres no clear stand out winner this season. Salah last year was always winning it, hut this season theres nit been that one player who's clearly ahead. O'Reilly has a chance.

@Erzezz @Mo_Arsenal9 @FA_PGMOL So what youre saying is the defender can foul the striker AND get a freekick in their favour, if the striker is also fouling them?

@Mo_Arsenal9 @FA_PGMOL It’s a tricky situation. Both of them were engaging more in wrestling than in football. But in cases like this, the rules should favor the defending player more.
