My youngest needed a timeout from the family gathering for a nap so I finally got to run to @thirdeyecomics and pick up my order

The Toddfather's Battle Beast cover slaps so hard, my favorite covers this week.

@ComicXBooks The Industry is strong when I think of Absolute DC, Skybound and Ghost Machine at Image, or the Tynion IV books but outside of the new Punisher book Marvel feels like a team that is tanking for a draft pick.

@Mattybeeker I struggle with this... I had a buddy that was an alcoholic and always wondered that he would only ever quit/get better if he hit rock bottom. I don't know... maybe the comic industry needs to get their 7th DUI before it gets better lol.

X-Men United was borderline unreadable, what are we doing here. Excretional X-men was canceled for poor sales and they are just continuing that mess with a different title? R.I.P. to my favorite franchise.

I'm not trying to pay originalInvincible #1 prices but there are still Larry's editions out there from 2003 to be had at more reasonable prices. I grabbed one before this one goes atomic as well

This news just dropped, this might be the book of the year and the final nail in the coffin of the dog water team books Marvel is trying to sell me lately.

I have been reading comics for over 30 years now and if David Finch on Skinbreaker isn't the best comic art to come out in that time then it is certainly still my favorite.

What a great week of treasure hunting. 2 James Tynion IV keys, the 1:25 for Iron Man 1 at cover price, first appearance of Rogue, and a head scratcher of a slab in X-Men Gold 13 dirt cheap and great for display.

This cinderblock sized collection is only $35 on Amazon right now. Can't wait to dig in.
