Pinkie is speaking truths. The amount of entitlement amongst certain animation fandoms is insane and does WAY more harm to the medium they claim to love than they realize. We need support so we can keep making the work you love, not hear criticisms about things we can’t control.

Animation fans love to wildly speculate and explain my job to me on a regular basis. I was having that convo with my roommate yesterday, even the douchey-est of film nerd bros seemed to pipe down about union issues and were more frustrated with the lack of content / work stoppage.

"I wanna run an animation studio!!" No you don't. You wanna make fun animated stuff with your friends. Running a studio is a lot of very tough decisions, production pipelines, tight budgets, and people managing. It's incredibly difficult work.
