Companies are beginning to realize the error, the financial cost is more than when they relied on humans. Tech debts aren't going away, they become exponentially bigger than the businesses can afford. For newbies, we will need new ways of teaching, while allowing them to adopt the new tech.

@MaverickHats Shipping at rocket speed is actually a lie for any serious product builder, most companies can't afford the debt that comes from doing that. Have cool-off periods, use those moments to review, plan, design, strategize. AI can't replace genuine human creativity.

Many senior/OG Devs may have already observed the black box effect of using AI for coding in the long term. Your brain rewarding mechanism needs new ways to reward your learning, with AI doing all the magic, your learning quickly and forget quickly too. What we need to do is figure out how to learn, and retain knowledge while depending on these tools.

I am genuinely worried for junior software devs and beginners. Hate AI or love it, I do not think we can teach them without it in this era. What we should be discussing is how to teach them the old ways while leveraging the new ways, so that knowledge is preserved.
