Reiley's Story - The Cost of Compliance vs Non-Compliance
Every choice carries a price. In this profound collaboration between Max Freedom and Michael Gray Griffith, we examine the heavy toll of the mandate era through the personal lens of Reiley’s journey. Reiley’s story is one of compliance—a choice made under the weight of a mandate that changed everything. While some paid with their careers by refusing, others, like Reiley, paid a different price with their health and convictions.
Though the mandates have officially ended, the social, financial, and personal costs continue to be felt every single day. Justice is the constant struggle to right the wrongs of the past and ensure they are never repeated.
By sharing this particular story of the human experience, we hope to shed light on the lasting impact of these decisions and the ongoing fight for accountability.
Thank you for listening and for honouring Reiley’s story.

WALK OF HOPE - Shame or Hope: Your Choice, Choose Now -By MICHAEL GRAY GRIFFITH
Michael Gray Griffith @cafelockedout shares a powerful message about finding hope, even when it feels like we’ve lost our way. He starts with a moving story of a young girl’s quiet act of rebellion during the lockdowns—sneaking into a nursing home to comfort her dying grandmother—as a reminder of the human connection and courage that should define us.
In this talk, Michael argues that the biggest threat we faced wasn't just a virus, but a wave of fear that infected our culture. He challenges us to stop looking the other way and to realise that our own silence has a price—not just for us, but for the generations coming after us.
He touches on the "miracle of being you," the importance of the Australian identity, and the weight of responsibility we carry for our grandkids' future. From economic struggles to the impact of recent years, Michael asks a difficult question: will we be the generation that accepts a slow slide into "the freedom to endure," or will we find the courage to be liberators?
It’s a call to move past the feeling of powerlessness, to start speaking up in our everyday lives, and to choose hope over shame.

WALK OF HOPE - Find Your Courage to Push Back Against Tyranny - by Michael Gray Griffith
Michael Gray Griffith @cafelockedout shares his views on free speech, government influence, and why open debate matters now more than ever. Often labelled controversial, he questions why certain opinions are shut down and why fewer people feel comfortable speaking openly.
He talks about freedom of speech as something we’re all born with—not something handed out by governments—and raises concerns about growing censorship and the pressure to stay silent. Along the way, he touches on culture, media, politics, and the way public conversation has changed over time.
The discussion covers a mix of topics including the cost of living, immigration, and broader social issues, all centred around one idea: we should be able to talk about these things openly, even when it’s uncomfortable.
He also makes the case that debate isn’t something to fear—it’s how people find common ground and move forward.
Whether you agree with him or not, it’s a conversation that’s meant to get people thinking and talking.

Walk of Hope — Reiley’s Story & Speaking Out
At the Walk of Hope, Michael from Cafe Lockdown speaks about a recent long-form interview he conducted with Reiley, who also shares his personal experience after taking the vaccine.
Reiley explains that he was injured following his first dose and struggled to get support afterward. He describes feeling dismissed and having to find his own path to recovery, along with dealing with isolation and not being taken seriously. He also reflects on the difficulty of having his experience acknowledged, both socially and within the healthcare system.
The conversation broadens to include themes of speaking up, public pressure, and the importance of open discussion. Reiley encourages others who have been affected to share their stories, saying that doing so can bring support and help move conversations forward. His shirt, “Follow the Silenced,” represents the idea of listening to people who feel unheard.
The discussion ends with a call for more honest and respectful conversations, and a reminder that people often have more in common than they think.
What do you think about the importance of listening to different experiences? Let us know in the comments.

WALK OF HOPE : Protest Regulations & Legal Outcomes - A Message of Victory Overthrowing Tyranny
In this recorded address from the first Saturday of the month, Stuart provides an update on a series of legal challenges regarding protest permits and police conditions in Western Australia. Stuart details a two-year history of contesting restrictions imposed by the Commissioner of Police, citing five successful cases brought before the State Administrative Tribunal (SAT) where the commissioner's conditions were overturned.
The report highlights a significant shift following a February 19th determination stating that a formal permit is no longer required to hold a protest. Stuart notes the current absence of City of Perth council rangers and police intervention during the gathering, contrasting this with previous instances where rangers reportedly requested arrests based on permit requirements and the display of signage.
Stuart also addresses past allegations and law enforcement tactics. He describes previous threats of imprisonment related to "stalking" charges involving the Governor’s wife—charges which he claims were never pursued in court—and attempts to ban individuals from standing outside Government House using "no loitering" regulations.
Stuart frames these developments as a legal victory for democratic assembly. He asserts that, following these legal outcomes, future protests will proceed without permit applications as a matter of established legal right.

A Walk of Hope — Finding Our Compass
Recorded on the first Saturday of the month, we gather for a session of truth-telling to discuss the transitions occurring across Australia and the world. Moving away from our usual "walk of shame," today’s theme is a Walk of Hope, perfectly coinciding with the Easter season. We believe that things change slowly and then suddenly, and that shift is happening now.
Special guest speaker Michael Gray Griffith @cafelockedout joins us to discuss the evolution of the Australian identity. From the sacrificial foundation of the ANZACs to the Larrikin spirit of the 80s, Michael explores how the events of the last five years have challenged our national values. He notes a turning tide in mainstream media, with outlets and high-profile figures finally beginning to acknowledge vaccine injuries and the growing demand for real answers.
As we face a period where our national identity is "up for grabs," Michael argues that the coming hardships will require immense courage. He urges us to step away from our screens and navigate by the "compass in our soul" that points toward goodness. The ultimate goal is to remain decent human beings and come together as one, ensuring we emerge on the other side as a more robust and resilient community.
What does the Australian identity mean to you today? Share your thoughts in the comments below.

With fuel stations running dry across Australia and farmers warning of empty supermarket shelves from diesel shortages, I get a distinct feeling of COVID déjà vu.
Could we soon see COVID-style government interventions: movement restrictions, rationing, and lockdowns to ‘manage’ the crisis?
No surely that’s just another “conspiracy theory”!

WAR AND PEACE by Jerry Roberts
Jerry Roberts—a veteran reporter trained in Perth and raised in the American Mid-West—brings a lifetime of covering politics, manufacturing, and Aboriginal Affairs to the themes of Tolstoy’s classic, War and Peace.
Recorded at Scarborough Beach on St. Patrick’s Day 2026, Jerry reflects on the outbreak of war with Iran and the human consequences of political decisions. Drawing on decades in outback Australia and his early career at Diego Garcia, he connects Tolstoy’s insights to modern conflict, the "Uni-Party," and Australia’s mission to remain a free, egalitarian society.

THE THIRD WAY: LOOKING AT THE GAP TO CREATE OUR FUTURE by -CARINA FREW - PEOPLE'S FREE SPEECH
Carina shares a profound perspective on resilience and collective growth. Using the image of a deciduous tree, she explains that even in seasons of "freeze" or isolation, we are often laying down deep roots and connecting through invisible networks of support. She reminds us that like trees in a grove, our strength lies in our interconnectedness and our shared protective instincts for the future.
Carina explores the biological states of fight, flight, and freeze, reframing them as natural survival responses rather than failures. She challenges us to move beyond the "fake matrix" of external problems and reclaim our roles as powerful creators. By shifting our focus from dystopian narratives, we can begin to alchemize our fear into a "Third Way"—a point of power where we stop resisting the old and start envisioning the new.
The core of Carina Frew message is a lesson from advanced driving: "Don't look at the witch's hats; look at the gap." She argues that our energy follows our focus, and if we only look at what we want to avoid, we will hit it. Instead, she invites us to ask new questions about what a thriving community looks like and to start "casting our own spells" for a future of joy, safety, and thriving for all children.
Ultimately, Carina Frew reminds us that we cannot realize what our minds disbelieve. She calls on us to stop telling stories of doom and instead stand in our divine authority to create a new narrative. By focusing on the "One Heart" and the magic of our connections, we can build a future that we are proud to leave for the generations to come.

FREEDOM: THE SHARED FOUNDATION OF OUR DIVERSE VIEWS by PILLO PEREZ - PEOPLE'S FREE SPEECH FORUM
In this personal and reflective talk, Pillo explores the profound transformations we’ve experienced since 2020. He shares essential lessons on the journey toward truth, emphasizing that the person we were in 2019 is often very different from who we are today. Pillo highlights how our social circles and beliefs have evolved, and why the courage to change our minds is essential for growth.
The path to a better world begins with the humility to admit we don't hold a monopoly on the truth. Pillo discusses "ideological capture" and how the ego traps us in safe narratives by dismissing new information. By identifying the ego’s influence and its tendency to label dissent as "controlled opposition," we can finally open ourselves to the diverse perspectives that enrich our intelligence and broaden our horizons.
True unity is the key to our future, but it requires accepting that we will not always agree. Whether discussing political figures like Trump and RFK Jr. or complex global events, Pillo argues that diversity of thought is a strength, not a weakness. Engaging with opinions we disagree with makes us wiser and helps us understand the different "lenses" through which others see the world.
We are in a fight for the future of our children, and unity is the only way forward. To achieve it, we must stop demanding total agreement and instead stand firmly on the one foundation that holds us all together. As Pillo reminds us, while our perspectives may differ, our common ground is Freedom.

OUR GREATEST ASSET by - MICHAEL GRAY GRIFFITH (@cafelockedout ) PEOPLE'S FREE SPEECH FORUM
Michael shares a powerful address reflecting on his journey capturing the stories of the freedom movement and his personal survival after a life-altering heart attack. He honours the bravery of Australians who stood their ground over the last five years, comparing them to the "modern Rats of Tobruk" for their resilience despite losing careers and family connections.
He explores the "black sheep paradox," explaining that the movement’s strength—and its struggle with unity—comes from a collection of individuals who naturally resist conformity. Michael highlights the stories of everyday heroes and introduces the "blue banded bee" as a symbol for those who contribute to society while thinking for themselves. A key focus is the danger of internal division.
Michael warns against "cancel culture" within the movement, urging members to resolve differences privately rather than airing grievances online. He emphasises that infighting only weakens their cause and that true strength lies in respecting diverse opinions while moving toward a common destination.
In his closing, Michael calls on all "veterans of this war" to document their experiences to prevent their history from being erased by digital "memory holes."
He reminds the audience that they are the seeds of future legends, fighting a marathon for the liberty of generations yet to be born.

THE WALK OF SHAME - MARCH 2026
Every month on the first Saturday at Forrest Place Perth, 11:30am, everyday West Australians gather for the "Walk of Shame" to start conversations, raise awareness, and break through the digital echo chamber. This is not a rally or a traditional protest; it is a mobile dialogue designed to bring important issues directly into the public square through signs and face-to-face engagement.
This is on-the-ground look at grassroots activism in Western Australia—exploring why people keep showing up, what they are trying to communicate, and the unique conversations that happen when you take these issues out of the internet and into the streets.
