@CarlCapolingua It may have been written almost 40 years ago, but I couldn't agree more, Carl. It's the book I always recommend to anyone wanting to learn about investing/trading the markets.

don't waste your time with that benjamin graham drivel! 👎 "stan weinstein's secrets for profiting in bull and bear markets" is the only #investing book you need! 1st paragraph says it all...🧐 "Buy low, sell high! That's the shortcut to a fortune, right? Wrong! It is just one of many loss-causing cliches that the crowd chants as they lose money year after year."

@HelixTrader That book (and hence Daniel) was very insightful and special. I also loved his most recent book collaboration 'Noise.'

@CarlCapolingua @pulinski And for ALU to exceed analysts expectations by so much. Both tech stocks - one had been a market darling and the other one had been in a trading range. Morningstar valuation on ALU was $31.14. They're not referred to as funny-mentals for no reason! 😆

@pulinski that's the right attitude paul 🧠👍 however super frustrating for a chart like that to deliver such a result makes you wonder what caused the overshoot in price pre-earnings - as in how did analysts screw it up so bad!? i think was a case of momentum breeding momentum it happens!

@CarlCapolingua I'd spread risk by investing in ETF & ING high interest account (paying 5.5% if meet monthly deposit conditions & not locked in). Then can change strategies & % depending on market conditions.
