.@BeauBayh announces that no campaign donor of his will receive a Secretary of State contract if he wins in November: “Hoosiers deserve to trust their government. That means knowing that state contracts are awarded based on merit—not political relationships or campaign contributions. That’s why, if I’m elected, anyone who gives to my campaign will be ineligible to receive a Secretary of State contract. I’ll also ensure a bright line between my campaign and the office by prohibiting campaign staff from communicating with state employees about state business. “If Max Engling believes Hoosiers deserve confidence that campaign money has no influence over government contracts, he should make this same pledge today. Will he commit that no donor to his campaign will receive a Secretary of State contract?” @FOX59 | @CBS4Indy

Investigators say a Fort Wayne man cut off his penis, lit it on fire and then used it to set his mom's garage on fire. Christopher Peden is charged with one count of Arson. Peden was arrested last week and his bond was set at $10,000. He has since posted that bond.

Corbin is described as 2’00”, 24 pounds, short blonde hair, and brown eyes. He was last seen leaving a residence on July 4, 2026, at approximately 3:00p.m. in the 2800 block Montclair Drive. Corbin was last seen wearing an orange shirt, brown shorts, and “Luigi” (video game character) sandals. If located, please call 911 immediately. Photo of Corbin Merrill is attached. New York: it's hot out there, and the power grid is working overtime to keep us cool. Set your AC to 78 degrees, turn off lights/electronics you're not using, and unplug what you can. Our City is doing its part too: maintaining the 78 degrees rule in our buildings, dimming/turning off our lights during peak electricity demand, asking private partners to do the same, and powering down non-essential equipment. A stable grid means the AC stays on, and lives are saved. Let's ease demand — and get through the heat — together.
