A Greenland Shark has washed up in Cornwall, marking only the second stranding of the species ever recorded on UK shores: bit.ly/3idVsVb

A few days ago, @ja_tobias and I found and photographed Shelley’s Eagle-Owl on the Atewa ridge in Ghana. First modern documented record for Ghana and first field photo of the species.

Day out with @MaxRobards - Cracking views of Wilson’s Phalarope at Keyhaven Marshes today along with 2 Grey Phalaropes on Butt’s Lagoon. Ended the day at Burton Mill Pond where the Purple Heron gave a nice 5 minute fly around at dusk before going to roost in its usual spot!

On a routine work visit in @kentwildlife's Ham Fen yesterday we were excited to find a brand new beaver dam. After a relatively quiet period, it's great to see their engineering prowess being put into new projects!
