The war in Ukraine is a grave regional conflict involving Slavic nations - Russia and Ukraine - with profound implications for Poland. Its resolution will ultimately require direct dialogue among those nations that share historical, cultural, and regional understanding. As "constitutional constraints" reportedly prevent my Polish colleagues Radek Sikorski and Karol Nawrocki from joining the Council, I respectfully offer my ad interim readiness to contribute to the Council’s work related to the #UkraineRussiaWar, including efforts supporting dialogue with President Volodymyr Zelensky and President Vladimir Putin.
