A woman has been jailed for 26 months for gesturing, shouting and throwing a missile at police during the violent disorder two weeks ago. Lisa Bishop was in tears as she was sentenced for her part in the extreme anti-immigration protest which had an ‘aggressive, racist nature’.

Another man has been jailed for 20 months for his part in the disorder which left him needing hospital treatment after being bitten by a police dog. Jamie Easterbrook says he had met friends after Bristol City’s match when he joined the extreme protest and confronted officers.
