A few months ago, we hosted a red carpet premiere in Yosemite w/75 creators & partnered with @Rivian to power the screening with the R1.
Can 100% confirm the interest in film. In the past few weeks alone, we've had a few brands/start-ups approach us looking to sponsor a film
Most are interested in the theatrical angle - and creating experiential moments/events that break through the noise.
Excited for the next wave of bold brand-funded entertainment. Soap operas were started by P&G after all...

For years, I was scared to post content because I wasn't the version of myself that I felt confident enough in presenting to the world. I was a nobody college kid in California struggling with constant self-doubt and ambitions much bigger than himself. I always knew I wanted to create content, but without a business or real subject matter to make content about, I felt stuck.
I now feel that I'm at a point where I can share the things I've learned, but it took tons of time and work to get here. And surprisingly enough, I don't think the way out of that cycle is to push straight through it at all.
I think that if the bottleneck is proof and experience, try your hardest to get those before proceeding. If you have no value to provide - and you know that deep down, but still feel like you should create content because it's an investment that will pay dividends in the future - while that might be true, your content will fall flat.
You need to have something worth sharing, something of value to provide to your audience if you want to make compelling content. And I thought I'd blow up simply because my videos were cool and artistically driven in a niche that isn't typically structured that way. It just doesn't work.
I took 9 months off of YouTube to build 2 companies (one failed) and worked at a startup for 3 months. I took the time to build myself in other areas of life and business, enough to obtain the value I now feel that I can provide to people. Unfortunately these things take time, and you cannot skip steps.
That said, I'll be posting more regularly on YouTube moving forward. It's always been my greatest passion and creative outlet, and I can't wait to share what I've been working on.

@blakeandersonw I would like for my app's distribution to be solved. Alas.

@kurtjenkins no, but it often correlates & helps with discovery of talent (good stuff eventually rises)

@Maxbrsee is a large social presence a pre-req to working with camp?
