Sore this morning from running the annual Midnight Sun Race, part of our rich tradition of celebrating the longest day! I met my goal, finishing 10k in 55 minutes. Got so many high fives, hugs, and handshakes from participants and from hundreds watching along the route #akelect

Our schools need permanent, predictable, and inflation adjusted funding. We owe it to our communities and our families. I will always be a champion for education and I will continue to fight for our students, our families, and our schools every chance I get! #akelect #akleg
