Walter Rodney was wrong.
Africans are poor because too many African countries make it hard to start businesses, get permits, access reliable electricity, trade freely, protect property, enforce contracts, attract investment, and keep the rewards of hard work.
Singapore is richer than Britain, its former colonizer.
Switzerland, which never built a colonial empire, is richer than Spain and Portugal, two of the greatest imperial powers in history.

🇬🇭 Ghana’s cedi has become one of the worst-performing currencies in sub-Saharan Africa in 2026.
Persistent forex demand from importers and the energy sector continues to drive its steady decline.
Despite easing inflation and improving economic indicators, the cedi’s depreciation is worsening the cost of living and pushing prices of goods higher.

@KwameOtu10 @Ahmedmusa718 @DONJAZZY I was hoping you’ll explain my previous question. But I see you don’t have an explanation for why the same tweet from you is trending by different people with different phone numbers. At this point I wish you well 🙏
English

@Maxidotcrypto @Ahmedmusa718 @DONJAZZY So is that your concern or the persons mental health? SMH 🤦🏾 baba you never ready for this life. Na the tone and words of person tweet dey irk you lol!

Goal is already credited to a Bruno assist
English

🚨 𝗡𝗘𝗪: A video currently going viral on social media appears to show that Patrick Dorgu’s goal may actually go down as an own goal.
The footage suggests the ball hit the crossbar before going in off Bart Verbruggen’s hand.
If confirmed, this could mean that Bruno Fernandes has NOT broken the assist record.

English

@KwameOtu10 @Ahmedmusa718 @DONJAZZY The fuss is that same tweet is trending, same format, same wording, same tone..only different phone numbers. That’s what I’m asking you to explain. Which one of the tweet trending is the original? That shouldn’t be difficult to explain 🤷🏽♂️
English

@Maxidotcrypto @Ahmedmusa718 @DONJAZZY The point is that if it was a scam, it would have been detected long ago, and my phone number is there so why the fuss oga?
English

@KwameOtu10 @Ahmedmusa718 @DONJAZZY That is not the point.
People who support you have needs as well. We all owe a shared responsibility that the help you are asking for is indeed genuine.
How come your tweet has the same words, style and tone as some other tweets trending online? Can you kindly explain that?

After 8 long years of pain, darkness, danger, and neglect, the traffic lights at Awoshie-Mangoase Baah Yard are finally working again.
For years, residents, motorists, traders, schoolchildren, and commuters were forced to navigate this busy intersection at great risk. Countless complaints were made, promises came and went, yet the situation remained unchanged. Many had simply lost hope that anything would be done.
Today, that story has changed.
This may seem like a simple traffic light to some, but to the people of Awoshie-Mangoase Baah Yard, it represents something much bigger: safety, dignity, and the belief that their concerns matter.
I would like to acknowledge the support of the Municipal Chief Executive, the Chiefs of Awoshie, and other stakeholders whose cooperation has been instrumental in helping us move this matter forward. I am also deeply grateful to the Minister for Roads and Highways, Hon. Governs Kwame Agbodza, for facilitating and expediting the process to ensure that this long-standing challenge received the urgent attention it deserved.
My appreciation also goes to the engineers and technical teams who worked tirelessly, including through the night, to diagnose the faults, restore the system, and ensure that the traffic lights are fully operational once again.
As your Member of Parliament, I remain committed to ensuring that basic public services are not treated as privileges but as necessities. Our municipality deserves functioning infrastructure, safer roads, and a government that responds to the everyday challenges of ordinary people.
This is not the end of our work but a stark reminder that when we listen to the needs of our people and act with urgency, progress is possible.
I also wish to appeal to all residents, drivers, traders, and community members to take collective ownership of this restoration. Let us remain vigilant and help protect the equipment from theft, vandalism, and damage. Public infrastructure belongs to all of us, and safeguarding it is a shared responsibility.
To everyone who kept raising their voices and refusing to accept neglect as normal, thank you. To the media houses and journalists who consistently highlighted the dangers posed by this situation, I acknowledge and appreciate your role.
Together, we will continue to push for the development, safety, and transformation that Ablekuma North deserves.

@KumasiSarkodie_ That is very stupid from you. I'm not sure you read. Muslims are the majority in Kosova, Indonesia, Morocco, Algeria, Saudi, Oman, Qatar etc etc how about that? Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world, despite all the lies about Islam. U should be ashamed
English

I always tell my Nigerian friends that the only reason Ghana is more peaceful than Nigeria is because Muslims are the minority in Ghana cos wtf is this?

@japan_nobunaga Through all the changes of the world,
🇯🇵 never forgot what it means to be human!

A 7-year-old boy gets on a train in Tokyo. Alone.
No mother. No phone. No adult watching him at all.
He bows to the driver, finds his seat, and folds his hands in his lap.
He is going to school. By himself. Across a city of 14 million strangers.
And not one person on that train thinks anything is wrong.
A businessman glances up, then goes back to his paper.
An old woman smiles at the boy and looks away.
Nobody films him. Nobody calls anyone. Nobody is afraid.
Because in Japan, a small child alone is not a victim waiting to happen.
He is just a kid going to school. Like every kid before him.
I grew up being told the opposite. Lock the door. Watch your back. Trust no one.
Never let them out of your sight, not for one second, or the world will take them.
And somewhere along the way, I started to believe that was simply the truth.
Then I watched a 7-year-old ride home alone through a city of millions.
And step off at his stop. And walk the rest of the way. Safe.
We had this once, too.
A street that watched your kids. A town that brought them home.
Japan didn't find some secret. They just never stopped being decent to each other.
Quietly. Every single day. While the rest of us forgot we ever could.
That little boy will get home tonight.
He always does.

I'm one of the smallest voices in Cardano, but I strongly believe the drama being created right now around IOG’s requests is completely unnecessary.
Cardano as strange as it may sound needs to be run like a serious company. If you don’t invest real money into a company, it eventually dies.
I agree that the community is key and must decide democratically, but that same community wants the value of their ADA to go up long-term. That is only possible if Cardano survives and thrives.
Right now, everyone on other blockchains ignores us and calls us fools, but we know exactly what we are and we know Cardano is far more valuable than their chains.
We can only achieve final victory if we develop Cardano rapidly in every area and stay united as one.
Those who don’t want that, or just want to spread fear and panic, should leave Cardano and go to some memecoin chains instead.
IOG is essential for all of us. If IOG cannot keep its current team of developers, Cardano will not stay where it is today.
So, Cardano DReps and the entire Cardano community I ask you to fully support all of IOG’s requests!
Let’s open a new, better chapter together and write the story of Cardano’s victory over the rest. 🚀
We can do this! 💪❤️
All on $ADA 💎

Because of my personal experience when I was arrested (my house was searched); I was detained in BNI cells (never interrogated); because of senseless partisan politics; I cant understand why politicians (using surrogates), continue to enjoy making certain decisions that cause them serious public disaffection.
Gone are the days when you can arrest people and they will never see life again.
In this day and age; you waste your time arresting people for misdemeanors because social media will expose you.
Politicians and their surrogates should wake up to the reality of human existence.
This Nonsense Must Stop!
