NEW: Española detention officer Jacob Hill accused of brutally beating handcuffed man who called him “little girl”
Video from inside the Española Transport Facility shows detention officer Jacob Hill elbowing a handcuffed man in the face multiple times, slamming his head into the wall “a good four to five times,” and throwing him into a jail cell door after the man repeatedly taunted him by calling him “little girl,” “bald headed white boy,” and other insults.
The victim, who was arrested for disorderly conduct, required 26 stitches on his face that night.
Hill was placed on administrative leave the day after the incident and later resigned.
Interim Police Chief Cody Martinez is calling for felony assault charges.
The New Mexico State Police are investigating at the request of Española PD.
@RoseElla1234 They should have made Hulk a black woman, and the opening scene of the movie should show her ordering food at McDonald’s and her card getting declined and she tears the place apart. More realistic that way…
