Another CS2 update is live - Just changed the position on one of the nades in Anubis's Map Guide and some localization strings, nothing much.

@BenGWild @ThourCS2 From my understanding, anything the server console accepts, so you could fire up sv_cheats 1; host_timescale 0.1 and now the server plays your favorite scenes from the Matrix

Huge CS2 update... Before if you shoot 30/90 > 25/90 Reload, You get 30/85. All ammo preserved, the 25 remaining rounds go back into reserves. Now if you reload, a mag goes away, 30/3 > 25/3 > 30/2. This affects competitive play massively. Video soon!

@eugenio8a8 The only thing I'm worried about is, knowing what happens from the books, I don't understand Messiah as a movie, and not even because of the prologue era, but how it concludes the trilogy. Will be interesting to see

@eugenio8a8 He turned down easy money on 2049, fought to split Dune into two films when studios wanted one, and insisted on IMAX and practical effects over CGI shortcuts which says a lot about the guy. I really like his films, he's got strong ideas for every single scene in his movies

Not CS related post(sorry), but Denis Villeneuve getting the third movie(Dune) makes me full of joy. All his films are masterpieces, and people aren’t ready for the scale and the insanity of this. The art style, the story everything. This could be one of the greatest movies ever.

@j4nnisCS There's one map change in the tracking, and least some subtle game_modes changes, UI and a pair of gloves. But nothing that stands out

@ThourCS2 I think the reason a game hits hard for some people has nothing to do with the game. The drive to compete is human nature and CS2 channels it perfectly. The frustration comes when the promise isn't kept

I think we all take this game way too seriously.

Valve silently changed middle on Dust2 and moments later reverted it back to how it was. I can't remember last time they made a significant map change just to instantly revert it. I liked it tbh, but it seems they wanted to reveal that later?
