@MaximumGilliard @gunnarmorling @intellijidea The F keys let you do things like Rename (Shift-F6) or Move Method/Class (F6) or Copy Class (F5) or close all of the tool windows (Cmd+Shift+F12).

Always surprised to see when folks use the (slow) default key repeat and delay settings on #macOS. It's the first thing I'm always changing on a new Mac. Surely has saved me hours over the years 🤓.

@jitterted @gunnarmorling @intellijidea .. I never use F keys with intellij, now I'm worried I'm missing some neat tricks. What's up there?

@gunnarmorling And F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys! Don't know how one would use IDEs like @intellijidea without that setting.

Settings > WiFi > Choose your network > settings > share > as QR code > screenshot > open in photo app > Lens > read QR code If you want to find the password for a wifi that your phone is connected to well I mean, it works, but...

Achievement unlocked: being mistaken for my son's grandfather. I couldn't really muster much indignation because it came from the barber and at that moment he had a razorblade to my face. We do have nice haircuts now, so overall a mixed trip.
