I then used a questionnaire that I saw from @LDbaseRepo Oct data challenge from a preprint by @jarlogan and colleagues about data sharing perceptions from another study that collected the data. [Phew] These questions sparked thoughtful discussions.

🚨🚨🚨 We got a pub in Reading and Writing! We explored cross-language transfer of phonological processing skills on spelling in Northern Sotho and English. Phonological awareness and RAN were within & cross language predictors for both languages. link.springer.com/article/10.100…

The amazing Patricia Makaure also describes the types of spelling errors that were made in both languages. This paper adds to our understanding of the language universal predictors of reading and spelling development. It was awesome to work with the team again!

I presented some of our results of using personalized edtech in low resourced schools. The highlight is a grade panel analysis comparing gr 2s from different years. Gr2s in 2024 active in gr 1 were on the same level as gr2s in 2023 who had limited access. Almost 6 months better!
