Colby (3A) senior quarterback Cody Wright delivered another standout performance in the 44-23 win over Lakin, totaling 248 all-purpose yards and 4 touchdowns on the night. Wright has been a dynamic playmaker all season, racking up just under 1,200 all-purpose yards and ranking among the state leaders in kickoff return yards with 393 on the year, averaging an impressive 39.3 yards per return. His QB Maxson Smiley went 16-21 in the win with an impressive 341 passing yards as well as 3 passing TDs.
