The @Westpac Lifesaver Rescue Helicopter has delivered food to 11 stranded campers in the Gold Coast Hinterland. Following the recent heavy rainfall, multiple water crossings in the area have been flooded cutting off road access. @cityofgoldcoast @QldPolice

Lifesavers are expecting some unstable conditions this afternoon with a large outgoing tide. We are pleading with beachgoers to be cautious around river mouths and bars, and to always swim between the red and yellow flags.
