Anyway, I know y’all get tons of hate comments and I’m not trying to add to that. But as someone who’s invested literally 100% of my gaming time and hundreds of dollars into this game, I wanted to share because this game matters a lot to me. Appreciate y’all!

I understand things have changed, but it’s hard to stay excited about the game when I’ve been playing it since launch and we’ve had a few mid seasons. The TDM/Gun Run rotation has been hugely helpful, but new legends do matter.

@PlayApex hi y’all! One of the expectations that y’all established early on was that each season would come with a new character and a weapon. Along the way, the weapon expectation changed. Now, we’ve had two seasons with no new legend.

@JustinEGiboney I’ve always found these takes to just be motivated by people being upset that they can’t emotionally manipulate me into agreeing with them. I’ll maintain my position of being quick to hear, slow to speak. I’ll weigh ideas and policies for myself, thanks.

Centrism isn’t necessarily better than progressivism or conservatism, especially if it’s an excuse to avoid necessary conflicts. Seeking a neutral middle is often cowardice. At its best, centrism is a commitment to finding principled and workable solutions not a mushy middle.

I’m not sure about the future of Twitter until this platform can shed its chronic negativity. My timeline is full of hot takes, harsh words, and generally awful dialog toward one another. Every time I log on, I’m reminded of how bad this place is for my mental health.

@timkellernyc Beale is probably my favorite modern theologian. Fella is so insightful while maintaining really strong convictions of orthodoxy. Truly lovely to see. The Temple and the Church’s Mission still stands as one of my favorite theology books I’ve ever read.

@elonmusk I think we’ve sacrificed both truth and love in the efforts to gain traction in culture wars. So much so that any time you wish to weigh in on any issue, it’s deemed as being “traitorous” to your “side.” Exhausting when your primary obligation is to truth and love

This sort of playground politic that happens on these kinds of apps is part of the problem. The sort of faceless critique of people who don't look like they carry any sort of power is petty and awful. I don't imagine that will change with Elon. Good luck to him though.

But the hearts of many of Twitter's power-users are hardened and careless. They're often about clout - if you don't have a follower count, you aren't shit. I used to have over 2k followers on my previous account and people treat me *very* differently now that I deleted that acct

Hardly tweet anymore, and I don't expect that to change. Sadly, the platform of twitter is only partially the problem. The bigger problem is how deeply toxic the community on this platform is, how they weaponize follower bases to bully people, and how it rewards hot takes.

@himtuition Start your own business and do this. Start a farm and harvest all of your own food with this policy. Just because you have the ability to tweet things doesn't make them real or possible. I'd encourage you to critique by creating, rather than just vocalizing pipe dreams.

@_taylor_TJ @karamellslp Their understanding of their experiences. Egalitarian theology is more academically tenable and what I hold to. But it is lacking deeply in the way of having a clear andrology (made that one up).

@_taylor_TJ @karamellslp I think it’s really common for many folks to assume that it’s internalized misogyny and general sexism that leads many to complementarianism but I suspect that for around 80% of the folks who do hold to it, it’s because of their hermeneutic and the way it makes sense of
