I’m not going to lie, I had little to no emotion last night. Of course the comeback was exciting but when TCU was up by 15/16 points, I felt indifferent in the moment just because of what we have seen the last two seasons from KU. Was I the only one that felt this way? Or no?

The current world of the transfer portal really makes me appreciate JD for sticking it out at KU. Whether you liked him or not, he stuck around all six years and never gave up on Kansas, and he’s still a big reason why KU football’s in a better place regardless of how it ended.

He can be as talented as anybody that's ever stepped on that court. It's a team sport and it's so unfair to everybody else that's out there playing through their own stuff. They need to tell him to play basketball or leave and go prepare for the draft. It's ridiculous.

How do you think future recruits will view KU for kicking off the team a freshman phenom because he wasn’t healthy? Are you just being irrational or are you this stupid?

And there it is. So he’s perfectly capable of playing - it’s a choice. The fans have every right to be angry that a player that is capable of playing - who is being paid millions of NIL dollars raised by donors and fans - is opting not to play despite being medically cleared.

@Slbslb1234 @RockChalkBlog Honestly Darryn being out and allowing some of these other guys to gain some confidence, young guys gain experience and confidence. I believe we’re a better team because of the DP injury, and adding a healthy 100% DP into the lineup is going to be the last puzzle piece.
