@MetiNTBG I was wondering why he hasn't bothered looking for the Blood Devil in some way. Then again, he was busy with his school life, taking care of Nayuta, and being CSM all at once as still a teen, so yeah

There is definitely a sadness that Denji really never stopped thinking about Power, a person who was mostly a devil but loved him for him. He likes both Asa and Yoru because they remind him of Power, though there is definitely a weird Oedipus complex type reading here.

i like how the series itself never made a big deal out of frieren rejecting sein’s invitation to dance. shes like i want to Cake and hes like sure keep eating bcs they’re chill like that but unfortunately i’ve seen weirdos genuinely treating this as some unrequited love drama 😭

I finally caught Finn Bálor on Cody Rhodes’ podcast, and I loved what he said about The Demon. I totally agree with him not liking how it became this heavily advertised, supernatural thing with a full backstory. Originally, it felt more like war paint, when he was in Japan, with a cool entrance and vibe.
I’d love to see him go back to that idea, and not even limit it to just “The Demon.” Let him use different styles of cool makeup for special matches. Keep the supernatural stuff out of it. Don’t make it so he’s magically stronger with paint on, and don’t turn it into a Fiend-style unstoppable character.
Just make it like Jeff Hardy. It’s visual, it’s expressive, and it doesn’t need a big explanation. Sometimes it’s just cool makeup, and that’s enough.

Okay, one more additional review, since I seen it
Turbo Kid
Bloody fun. Story is a wash but you can see they put a lot to make this more of an 80s sci-fi throwback than most stuff that came out during this time. Strange that's a thing, huh? Bike riding is cool in the apocalypse.

And that's about it for 2025.
Hopefully I can move over to longer rants about these movies in shows in another platform like letterboxd soon, maybe IMDB but that has its issues. We will see. Here's to 2026, will think to at least do a new thread like this for the new year too
