Rosewater said green means "growth through acceptance" which is the exact opposite of jace's philosophy in reality fracture. Jace isn't embracing 4 colors in this deck or the story, he's rejecting one, and ironically it's the color his partner and kid are strongly tied to.

I also think story wise it would be interesting if he gets desparked at the end of this saga, it would signify a huge risk in storytelling if one of the most recognizable characters loses his iconic abilities but paves the way for entirely new characters to ignite their sparks
