If you are in India, and have to share one fact to your friends and family this summer, use this:
In the last many decades, the whole world has been heating up. Annual mean temperature in every country has been rising 1-1.5 degrees a decade.
But India has been an anomaly. It has heated up the least at 0.5-1 degrees a decade. This is a scientific fact acknowledged by climatologists worldwide.
India has also increased its green cover, tree cover in cities, and forest cover in the last decade or so. This is not India's own data alone.
This is data by UN in their Global Forest Resources Assessment – GFRA 2025 report based on satellite imagery, which can't lie.
India has also increased ecological conservation efforts in recent decades as its wealth grew. It has improved its populations of endangered animals like Asiatic lion, Rhinos, Tigers and many birds and animals.
This is much better than many other countries - even developed ones (where they will shoot a wolf, shark, or bear if they increase in population, get close to human habitation, and attack a human).
Anyway, there will always be programmed Indians who will come to discount India's tremendous achievements in Paris climate goals and in protecting its environment even as a highly populous developing country.
We can't do much trying to convince these DS programmed and blackpilled bots. Just watch the comments below. They will come to tell you how numbers are fake, how they saw it has become bad, or change the goal post to another topic to berate India.

@dadua_daku @chiragbarjatya Ik some players that have around 300% margin on few products , they don't want to put up manufacturing, they say no need of it

Gyms are making losses because people are not ready to pay a premium for good-quality equipment, hygiene, coaches, music, clean washrooms, and proper air ventilation with air purification.
But the junta expects all of this after paying peanuts like 1-2k per month. Gyms are stuck in a chicken-and-egg problem. Going forward, only personal studios with a dedicated niche clientele, meaning high-paying people who understand the value, will see more success compared to big commercial gyms.
If you didn’t understand my post, think of it like this: you want an organic, palm-oil-free biscuit for 5 rupees, but in reality, if a company provides that for 5 rupees, it will go bankrupt. And if they price that biscuit at 25 rupees, you will stop buying it.
Frontier Indica@frontierindica
Same story in most small towns of North India. How do gyms even turn a profit when the competition is cut throat and most members are not willing to pay more than 1000-1500 per month as membership fees
English

@dadua_daku @chiragbarjatya Only frames are getting built in india main machinery is all china 95% equipments coming from china, we are not even able to make good quality benches for gym equipment
English

@chiragbarjatya People can't pay more than 2k a month. One possible solution is to ramp up manufacturing of gym equipments in India. That should dramatically reduce costs of equipments and maintenance at least.
