@PeterJCasaey I’ve been meaning to watch it for a while now, never have! But I have been more and more desperate to see… like.. movies made with art and attention, hence why I’ve been wanting to watch The Wizard of Oz!

The older I get the more i appreciate the masterclass filmaking that is "The Wizard of Oz" Its truly one of the best films to have ever been produced. Everything is shot in camera, all effects practical. And it was made almost 100 years ago.

@catsuka Fantasia 2000 made me realize a lot I wanted out of 2D animation was possible! As a kid I always wanted shading in 2D and The Firebird Suite did it was before I ever saw the first tests of Klaus! Still some of the most beautiful animation I’ve seen, the shadings the cherry on top

My cape/cloak is coming along nicely! Currently doing the herringbone stitch then will be doing one more star stitch section, then *maybe* sew em together, unless I still need a lil more bonus sections to get a good flowy look, we’ll see!

Looking a bit into embroidery art since I plan on adding embroidery to my cape when I’m done knitting it and…. Wow… I so badly want to get into making more masks and plushies but “painted” with embroidery aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Rewatched some of my old animations and now I wanna animate again…! I’ve got knitting to do!! I can’t! Every time I think about a mask I made, or knitting, or whatever I violently hop into doing that, but then I’m in the middle of a project and I can’t do my other obsession!

@AppleCurlyCat Thank you..! I just…. really like making things :3 Also, if you make your own pattern: I made my pattern in procreate, there’s plenty of tutorials on how to create a seamless repeating pattern!

@AppleCurlyCat A good option could be peel and stick wall paper from Spoonflower! I believe it doesn’t damage walls and they have MANY designs created by artists, you can even make your own! That’s how I ended up with my own wallpaper that’s got Wishbones on it, with a lil vine heart

@MayflyMayDie We use sticky tacks to at least put up prints or posters on the wall, but any installation, wall painting or screwed furnitures into the wall is forbidden- If it weren't for the restrictions, I would definitely hang my lips puppet on a wall or paint my wall black and white ^^

@AppleCurlyCat Maybe there’s non destructive ways to put up art on the walls?

@MayflyMayDie Aaahh, I wish my room was an art museum like yours- unfortunately our apartment has strict rules regarding changes Ú-Ù
