It’s a great brand name—people know it. I think rebranding it back to Bellator would be great. I beat Chiesa in his most high profile fight in the first round. He got a hero’s send off in the UFC, fought another retiring fighter in his hometown, mom wife everybody there to watch his life story.
My last fight in UFC was on the prelim of an Apex Card during Covid against an undefeated up and coming Russian. Chiesa tried to fight me in the locker room before the fight I didn’t say a word.

Just spoke to Kenny Cross, who fights Salahdine Parnasse on the Rousey vs. Carano card. He praised MVP not only for a great financial offer but he said they are paying him a flat fee — no show and win bonus. Not sure if that's across the board but great to hear #MMA

The promotion is bound to the rules of the state

@arielhelwani I think Francis made the right move for Francis, but that shouldn’t be the route everyone goes down. Francis was known for his freak strength and physic. If a guy like Sean or izzy did the same I don’t think it’d be rewarded the same.

Not just this, but the way I heard it, Diaz taking this fight closes the door on a UFC return completely. So whatever Diaz is making or planning for future fights, he’s doing so knowing there’s no UFC homecoming possible now.
