@Owen_Stephens The issue I see as a GM is that 2e basically solves these problems and fixes a lot more things I love 1e though and could see a revision working so long as it's either drop-in compatible with APs or comes with a unique setting/story/twist that differentiates it from base 1e 2/2

@Owen_Stephens We've played a TON of 1e and love it (still have a list of APs to play through) So: 1: Yes 2: Yes 3: Yes* *As a GM my main gripes are 1: balancing encounters for players of different power-levels 2: higher level play is rocket tag 3: action economy sucks and is confusing 1/2

Please respond if (and only if): 1. You play and enjoy Pathfinder 1e (PF1) 2. You're interested in buying a revised version of Pf1, made by a different company 3. There are changes you'd like to see in such a revised PF1 game, which wouldn't turn off other PF1 fans

@GamersNexus Whoops, I missed the first part where you mentioned already playing Vampire Survivors 😅 For some reason I read that as V Rising. Also a great game, but requires more time investment.

@GamersNexus Vampire Survivors and Dead Cells were both fantastic 30min or so play session games when I was playing them on the Steam Deck. Highly recommend them!

By the way, I have to thank those of you who recommended Vampire Survivors as a short and punchy game a few months ago. Tons of you recommended it. Great game to briefly decompress, fun mechanics and good skill scaling while being accessible to someone with limited time.

I'm at that point again where I'm between games. I'm looking for something light and not too story/dialogue heavy. Something I can just pick up and play while watching a show/youtube. I love roguelites and turn-based combat, so that's what I've been looking for.

@roletocast For me, recently my favorite has been Forbidden Lands by Free League. I love how little prep I have to do for a good session. The tables to generate interesting adventure sites are awesome! (Pathfinder 1e always holds a special place in my heart tho)
