.@INEC’s de-recognition of ADC leadership under the guise of obeying a Court Order of “status quo ante bellum” raises serious red flags. At a time when trust in the electoral process is critical, actions that suggest interference in party affairs only deepen fears of bias and democratic backsliding. INEC must remain neutral— or risk undermining itself and the credibility of the 2027 elections. INEC needs to reverse itself on this ill-advised decision

The National Assembly’s budget has skyrocketed by over 150% since 2023, moving from ₦228B to ₦577B. Yet, they haven’t released a single performance report in that same period. A 150% raise with 0% accountability is a violation of the law.

We’re the real enablers of our own problems, let’s be honest. In 2018, the late Buhari went on international TV and called us “Lazy Youths”. He said most of us under 30 are uneducated, just sitting around expecting free houses, free healthcare, and free education all because Nigeria has oil. He saw our loud complaints, empty noise, and lack of real action. Honestly, too many of us proved him right.
Back then, Buhari and his generation fought for this country in their youth. They didn’t expect handouts. They demanded change with sweat, sacrifice, and real effort no entitlement attitude.
Now Tinubu is saying we were living a fake life before, buying iPhones, big data plans, enjoying cheap fuel, living large like tomorrow doesn’t exist, all propped up by subsidies and oil money. Now reality has hit, and we’re crying.
We’re still doing the same weak things: complaining online, chasing fake lifestyles, waiting for government to give us everything, with no serious hustle or skill-building. Buhari saw the ignorance and laziness. Tinubu is exposing the fake life we built on cheap things.
If we don’t unite and do things like other youths did to liberate their country, the next leader will call us lazy youths again and we keep wailing like new born babies.
