@ivanvespasian Like hello, apart from sexual relationships with cousins, marriage between cousins is quite a thing in several countries. And most people are just being transphobic, leave the incest and they'll still have something to say

You may disagree with this take, but she is not wrong. I have seen and heard things about how certain people approach Nigerian queer literature. If you are homophobic, why not just avoid queer books as a whole? Why read it then start exhibiting bigotry? I don’t get it at all😒

Mainstream Nigerian readers do not know how to interact with queer Nigerian literature and it’s such a big reminder that just because you’re ‘reading’ doesn’t mean you’re truly engaging your brain.

@_oyin_dam_ola Seriously ooo. Why read it? You'd think using the right pronouns for people reduce one's lifespan

I hate when people shit talk on The Death of Vivek Orji. You shit talk on the book, and still use the wrong pronouns for the author. If not FOMO, why are you so transphobic and you are reading The Death of Vivek Orji? And then start crying after reading, are you possessed????

This generation is "progressive" una. Very damaged generation that are not ready to unpack their traumas and unlearn certain things.

Made it a point of duty to not consume content from Nigerian politicians kids. They don’t need to feel it, I’ll just not contribute to platforming children of thieves and criminals that get to live out their wildest dreams while the rest of us suffer🙏🏾

I hate it when someone attaches several tweets to their comment section. I always scroll past but sometimes I just can't because the tweet is so lit I have to know what others are saying about it.

I was today's years old when I learnt that the correct spelling is "remuneration" and not "renumeration". I think renumeration has become acceptable too since it's widely used.

I just realised a mistake I made in my teenage years: I should have had an account where I record the names of people I borrowed books. Like a debtors list. Now, I don't have any of my books, especially my beloved Think Big🤦.

I came across this video on TikTok and I’m actually stunned asf. You’d expect younger Nigerians to be the most progressive, yet they’re the ones holding brooms and chanting “give us the gay eh”. I’m so embarrassed, wtf, wtf?!
