Hard disagree. Spreading out the games doesn’t magically create more games, it just allows you to watch more games. Still only 1 game a week for each team, compared to baseball (182 games) and basketball (82 games) More “primetime” matchups = better

The truth of the Maxx Crosby situation is that his knee surgery was public. It was known he was never passing a physical in his current state. Could the Ravens have seen something new that set off alarms and forced them to back out of the trade? Absolutely As fans, all we can do is speculate. And based on HOW the situation went down, it seems the Ravens are acting shady and got cold feet. The snarky phrasing of the Raiders announcement of the trade falling through, the lack of comms from the Ravens camp, signing Trey Hendrickson immediately after the reversal, reports of other GM’s disapproving of the move. From the outside looking in, it feels like the Ravens realized FA wasn’t panning out in their favor, they lost Linderbaum, and they were no longer comfortable sacrificing a large part of their future when they could settle for Hendrickson for lower stakes. The “failed physical” was a get out jail free card that was always on the table given Crosby’s current condition. Ravens fans will choose to believe the narrative that best suits them, of course Raiders fans will do the same. But it seems the rest of the league is looking at the circumstances and agreeing that something feels “off” about how the Ravens handled this. Very curious if any more info will come out or we will have to wait and see long term results
