FB just feel so good. Lots of loose rules from block strings to combos exemplifies player expression so much more than most fighting games. Played a casual set at CB and INSTANTLY recognized the play style. Modern games don’t got that anymore. Play styles are too homogenized.

I feel like a large percentage of people haven't really seen what actual ADHD or autism looks like in adults, and actively underestimate it's effects on people. Doesn't help that it's very literally invisible, unless you are experiencing it

@spinelessaisha That's usually the way to tackle things too. These videos only really give you a general idea of what to do, or the answers to your questions. Theres a lot to think about, so go easy and o do 1-2 at a time. Watching replays also helps alot with fixing ur habits too.

@MazeFGC think i'm having more fun focusing on a very few number of things and finding points at which i go "damn how do i do this" and then looking for an answer as opposed to sitting and watching videos or playing tutorials that overwhlem me yknow? ill ask you if i do get stuck

@Psychopathos_ Liking to lose, but more about liking to be challenged. If you can't handle other people challenging you, or even challenging yourself to step up and improve, then it's prob just a power fantasy thing. Hell, I want to win, but the challenge to get there is why it's worth it.

i think if you "like" fighting games but don't like losing to the people you fight, then you don't really like fighting games you like power fantasy. it's ok to admit that you are bad at something, you don't have to glass-ego it and complain about "sweats".

Players should be required to TO a full 64 person bracket before making suggestions like this. Nothing against Mena but I've been at least 10 years of these suggestions pop up when the best way to prove its feasibility would be to run your own event / online bracket and compare.

I wonder how feasible it would be to have FT2 pools and early tournament stages, but switch to FT3 for top 32. Would make competition so much more stable, deeper layers in the game and doesn’t seem like a lot of time added for the event. It would be amazing.
