What a week for REAL in Cannes 🇫🇷
From joining @TokenizeThisNYC as a Gold Sponsor to announcing our partnership with @redstone_defi, this week marked an important moment for REAL and everything we are building for the future of real-world assets on-chain.
A major highlight was seeing our CEO, @ivo_grigorov, on stage twice - first to speak about the REAL x RedStone partnership, and then as part of the panel discussion on “Stablecoins and Tokenized MMFs: Actual benefits and outlook in the next years.”
Beyond the stage, we had many valuable meetings, deep conversations, and exciting exchanges with builders, founders, and industry leaders across the space.

To the @ritualnet team and community, I want to sincerely apologize for the recent confusion regarding my account.
It was meant to be a harmless April Fool’s joke shared exclusively with my Indonesian friends—a quick plan to take a screenshot after renaming myself to @joshsimenhoff and then immediately switch back. I had absolutely no intention of impersonating him or causing any disruption in any of the channels. Unfortunately, the automated system caught the change instantly, and I was banned before I could even explain or revert it.
I deeply regret this oversight and the misunderstanding it caused. My commitment to this community and everything we are building together remains my top priority. I hope for the opportunity to rejoin the grid and continue contributing as Kreko.

Q1 has slowly drained people.
> You had guys like Bambi farming Billions, convinced the TGE would land in Q1.
They just postponed TGE.
> Aisha waited months for Perle airdrop, did every task, paid gas from her salary.
It finally dropped $0.9. She checked and just hissed.
> Kofi kept calling the bottom all the way from 92k to 67k. At some point he just stopped tweeting.
He was tired of being wrong.
> Dayo treated farming like a job. Daily check-ins, reminders, spreadsheets.
One night he looked at everything and said, “I’m tired of pretending this is worth it.”
Meanwhile, the funny part:
People were actually more active than ever onchain, but less profitable.
Everyone was busy, but the money wasn’t following.
Narratives kept changing, but nothing stuck.
Q1 felt like showing up every day, and slowly realizing the game isn’t paying like before.
Q2 is here, and we hope it get better
