“WHO OWNS THE DÊAD BODY USED IN ANATOMY LABS?” My neighbor's son who is reading anatomy came to me and told me that they are being supplied with fresh cørpse for their practicals and that he is wondering where those fresh cørpse come from I know other medical and anatomy students quietly ask this question during dissections but are often afraid to say it out loud: “Who actually owns the corpse we are using for practicals?” “Does the government supply dead bodies to medical schools?” The answer is deeper than many people think. Under the law, a DÊAD body is not “property” in the normal sense. Nobody can simply claim ownership over a human cørpse the same way one owns land, money, or a car. The law instead recognizes custody, control, and lawful possession of a cørpse for proper purposes such as:burial, autopsy, criminal investigation, medical research, and anatomical education. In many countries including Nigeria, medical schools do not randomly “buuy” cœrpses from the government. Bodies used in anatomy laboratories usually come from lawful sources such as: 🥢unclaimed bodies in mortuaries, some people will deposit their loved ones and forget them ,after some years the body is donated for medical research 🥢donated bodies, bodies released according to statutory procedures, 🥢corpses transferred under medical and public health laws. In crïmïñal matters, where a person dies in custody or under suspicious circumstances, the body may first remain under the authority of the state pending investigation or autopsy. After necessary legal procedures, some unclaimed bodies may legally be transferred for medical education depending on the applicable laws and regulations. That is why anatomy departments are expected to maintain strict records, ethical standards, and respectful handling of cadavers. A cørpse in an anatomy lab is not “a thing.” It was once a living human being with dignity, identity, and family. This is also why medical students are trained to treat cadavers with respect because the study of human anatomy is built on human sacrifice — whether through donation or lawful state release. Finally PLEASE IF your loved ones are in police custody , correctional centre and you hear that they di3d ,make the necessary applications and get hold of the body Or ELSE THEIR BODY WILL BE DONATED TO MEDICAL SCHOOL FOR EXAMINATION AND RESEARCH please mark the body you deposit in their mortuary to avoid confusion ,so that you don't carry another there and ABADON yours . law is Emotionless © Emmanuella Chinenye Ogwale

As copied from Jaycob on Facebook. “Mal Nasir El Rufai is someone I don't know why people hate him so much, Christians emphasized and for me I refuse to join the wagon and I have my reasons. If I'm wrong I stand corrected. I've come to realise that most of the allegations leveled against El Rufai are false and are just political strategies to silence him politically. Let me talk about few allegations against El Rufai that I believe they are false: *The abduction and ki//ing of Kaduna based political critic, Dadiyata: They accused El of being behind his adoption and if you listened to El Rufai last interview with Arise TV before his was arrested, he said he only knew about him after he was abducted. He also claimed that he was told those who kidnapped him were police officers from Kano. The questions are, who were those police officers? And who sent them? Now El Rufai allies are not sleeping. They are doing everything possible within their power to vindicate him and these twin police officers are identified for ki//ing Dadiyata. Musa Kwamarawa, the SSA to Matawalle(ex-governor of zamfara)has confirmed that Dadiyata was ki//ed in his presence. He said it was Hussaini Gimba who ki//ed him. Now the government has abandoned the investigation into Dadiyata's murder cause their target, Nasir will be vindicated while some people who are dining with them in Aso Rock will be implicated. * Ki//ing of innocent people in the Southern Kaduna: a lot of people accused El Rufai of being behind it but facts showed otherwise cause El Rufai at many occasions called on the military bombard bandits and terrorists in their hideouts but they refused that if they do, they will eliminate bandits and their victims. In addition to that, if we're going to accuse El of being hiding the ki//ings in Kaduna just because he was the governor, can we also accuse Governors Babagana Zulum of being behind the ki//ings in Borno, Caleb Mutfwang if being behind the ki//ings in Plateau State and Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia of being behind the ki//ings in Benue State? If you can't accuse other governors whose states are experiencing insecurity accompanied by mass murders of their citizens of being behind it then free Nasir too“

Breaking: In just 4 hours, ₦45.7 million was raised to purchase Nasir El-Rufai’s 2027 nomination form. A support group for the former Kaduna State governor announced that it successfully raised ₦45 million and ₦750,000 within only four hours to buy the expression of interest and presidential nomination forms for the ADC party ahead of the 2027 election. The group described the development as a major show of support and unity from El-Rufai’s supporters, saying the fundraising was not just about money, but also a sign of how strongly people have embraced his political movement. According to the group: “This is a voice from thousands of supporters saying with one heart: Mallam, we are with you.” The group also thanked everyone who contributed, stating that the support shows El-Rufai’s political movement continues to gain acceptance across the country. “The Movement is Rising,” the statement said, emphasizing that history continues to be shaped by the people.

Clarification on My Political Position We have noted recent media reports and discussions suggesting a possible realignment within the African Democratic Congress (ADC) due to the current challenges facing the party. In light of the misleading narratives in the public domain, I wish to state categorically that no final decision has been taken regarding my political future or that of my political associates. The recent Supreme Court judgment, while affirming the legitimacy of the David Mark-led National Working Committee (NWC), also remitted the matter back to the High Court. This has left the party in a precarious position. In addition, the Federal High Court has recently ruled to delegitimise the party’s recent convention. The Attorney General of the Federation has also strangely applied to a Federal High Court to deregister the ADC. We left the NNPP due to externally influenced legal problems that made our stay perilous. The ADC has now been also forced into this difficulty. Consequently, like other major stakeholders, we have commenced wide-ranging consultations — including with leaders from the NDC, PRP and others to explore the best options for protecting our democratic interests. We shall announce our decision in the soonest possible time. On the issue of presidential candidacy, I wish to recall my consistent record as a committed democrat. In the 2014 APC presidential primary, I came second to President Muhammadu Buhari (whom I fully supported to victory), with Atiku Abubakar third, Rochas Okorocha fourth, and the late Sam Nda-Isaiah fifth. Similarly, in 2019, I contested the PDP presidential ticket and immediately supported the winner, His Excellency Atiku Abubakar, serving as the campaign’s coordinator in the North. I have always placed national interest and party unity above personal ambition. Furthermore, the ADC is yet to zone its presidential ticket or take any decision on a candidate. I have therefore neither declared any intention to run for president nor endorsed any aspirant. All speculations to the contrary are premature and unfounded. My absence from the two recent ADC stakeholders’ meetings was due to unavoidable personal commitments. I promptly communicated my apologies to the party leadership. We shall continue to engage constructively at all levels. Any definitive position on our political direction will be communicated formally through official channels at the appropriate time. Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, PhD, FNSE Former Governor, Kano State Former Minster of Defence

Is this the true? @Abdul_Ahmad_ A little from what happened at the Plateau Elders meeting in Abuja: Part (1) Among those who gave speeches, three people raised the issue that is causing religious conflict in Plateau State. 1-Sheikh Sani Yahaya Jingir: In his speech, he stated that there is injustice being done to the Muslim community by denying them positions of authority in the Plateau State government. He also mentioned that Muslims are not being given the right to be recognized as indigenes of the state, even though their forefathers were actually born there. When the Sheikh said this in front of the President, the President turned and asked Governor Caleb whether there were no Muslims in his government. Caleb replied that he had given them commissioner positions. The President then asked, “What is a commissioner?” implying that it is not a significant position. He then said that when the governor returns, he should reorganize his government to include everyone—both Christians and Muslims—and give each group proper representation. Furthermore, regarding Sheikh Jingir’s complaint that Muslims are being labeled as non-indigenes, the President immediately said that the issue of “non-indigene” in Plateau should be abolished. However, the Jos chief (Gbong Gwom Jos) responded that this could only be done if it is abolished nationwide, but the President did not pay attention to that response. The President also gave Governor Caleb a deadline to submit a report on the actions he was instructed to implement in Plateau. — in Jos.

When Help Becomes Burden: The Quiet Abdication of Responsibility This video highlights a troubling trend among men today. Growing up in a typical Muslim northern home, such stories were rare; almost unheard of. But now, it seems nearly everyone has one account or another of a man gradually abandoning his responsibility to provide for his household, leaving it in the hands of his wife. In many cases, women begin by offering support out of love and partnership, not because they intend to carry the weight of the home. Yet, too often, that goodwill is taken for granted. What starts as assistance quietly becomes expectation, and before long, the entire responsibility is transferred. The video further explains that for some men, their wives are the very first people they have ever been responsible for; not even having managed the care of a pet before. So when a woman steps in to help, they retreat completely, folding into that convenience without ever reclaiming their role. Some never look back. This is not to discourage women from supporting their partners. But there must be clarity. Helping should not be mistaken for assuming full responsibility. It is his duty, let him own it.

I understand the argument that the money supposedly saved from fuel subsidy was never truly sitting somewhere waiting to be used. We were borrowing to sustain subsidy, and now that subsidy is gone, So that particular borrowing pressure should have reduced. Fine, that makes economic sense. It also explains why previous governments borrowed heavily and yet Nigerians saw little on ground, perhaps a huge chunk of that money was disappearing into subsidy payments. But here is where I am confused, if we are no longer borrowing to pay subsidy, aren’t we supposed to visibly see the impact of the recent borrowings on ground, it’s already 3 years, what are we borrowing for? Since 2023, President Tinubu has secured legislative approval to borrow roughly $21 billion in fresh external loans, about €4 billion, and another ¥15 billion. This is aside from the claimed increased revenues government now enjoys from subsidy removal, naira devaluation, customs collections, and higher tax inflows. So again, where is the impact? We know about the new presidential jet. We know about the fleets of SUVs purchased for the Villa and Villa staff. We know about the Vice President’s residence and the endless comfort projects around government. But can anyone confidently point to one major road completed, one major rail line commissioned, one massive public hospital delivered, or one landmark people-centered project that has changed the life of the ordinary Nigerian? Or we should all continue to stand on the mandate and no question asked?

The Untold Story Behind El-Rufai’s Non-Appointment By Dare Adelekan When President Bola Ahmed Tinubu unveiled his ministerial nominees last year, Nigerians across political divides waited eagerly to see one name on the list — Mallam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai. His name initially appeared, creating a wave of optimism that the Renewed Hope Agenda would be anchored on competence and experience rather than political compensation. But soon enough, the tide turned. The Senate withheld his confirmation, citing a so-called “security report,” and the President quietly moved on. Yet, behind the scenes, it was clear that El-Rufai’s omission went beyond any intelligence dossier — it was political, personal, and deeply revealing of the inner workings of the Tinubu presidency. From all credible indications, President Tinubu genuinely wanted El-Rufai in his cabinet. The grapevine within the corridors of power suggested that he was being considered for the Ministry of Power and Energy — a sector that has long suffered from inefficiency and bureaucratic rot. El-Rufai’s managerial capacity and technical acumen made him an ideal fit. His track record as Minister of the Federal Capital Territory under President Olusegun Obasanjo remains one of the most transformative episodes in Nigeria’s recent governance history. He turned Abuja into a disciplined, planned city, reasserting order and purpose with a rare sense of mission — all without the drama and theatrics that now characterize the present Federal Executive Council. So, what happened? Why did Tinubu, a man known for recognizing talent, abandon one of the most capable administrators Nigeria has ever produced? The answer lies in politics — the kind that thrives not on competence but on control. El-Rufai is not a man to be tamed. He is a reformer with an independent mind, one who speaks truth to power and rarely bows to political pressure. His bluntness, often mistaken for arrogance, is in reality the expression of a disciplined technocrat who detests mediocrity. He is not one to play the sycophant’s game or indulge in the kind of hero-worship that now defines Nigeria’s political elite. In simple terms, El-Rufai could not be expected to “lick anybody’s ashy hands,” to borrow the street phrase making the rounds in political circles. Those who know him also know he takes no nonsense. He thrives on merit, not manipulation. He does not need presidential favor to perform; he needs only a clear mandate and the freedom to execute. And therein lies the problem. Tinubu’s inner circle — a mixture of loyalists, praise-singers, and political courtiers — reportedly warned that bringing El-Rufai on board could “destabilize” the hierarchy of loyalty around the President. They argued that El-Rufai was too independent, too strong-willed, too cerebral to fit into a system that values submission over substance. Hence, the convenient narrative of a “security report” was floated — a ready-made excuse to neutralize a man who would not be easily controlled. The truth, however, is that El-Rufai’s exclusion was not about national security but political insecurity. It was about protecting fragile egos in the corridors of power. In a cabinet where noise often substitutes for performance, and where some ministers mistake verbosity for vision, El-Rufai’s mere presence would have exposed the emptiness of many. It is ironic that the same qualities that make El-Rufai an asset to Nigeria are the ones that have turned him into an outsider in Tinubu’s government. He is brilliant, versatile, focused, and daring — the very traits that a reform-minded government should celebrate. Instead, the presidency seems to have chosen convenience over competence. Today, the Ministry of Power continues to grope in the dark — literally and figuratively. The Renewed Hope Agenda in that sector is still struggling to find its feet, weighed down by bureaucracy and indecision. One can only imagine what
