@25Erasmus « Zambezi river » just reminded me of the primary school song on the rivers in Africa; Nile, Niger, Congo, Sanaga, Orange, Limpopo, Zambezi. Nile is the longest, Congo is the largest. 🤭😅😅

23-year-old female student during a breast cancer awareness month learned how to check for breast nodules. That same evening, she noticed an abnormal lumb on her right breast, which was managed traditionally with no resolution. With the help of her friend who's in med school, they succeeded in getting a consult, 6 weeks later, results were out, and it was breast cancer. Further testing was done in India, which showed that the cancer was localized. Surgery and chemo were planned but could only afford 3 sessions of chemo (180k/each) while surgery was delayed for financial reasons. 8 months later, surgery was done (1.5M XAF) followed by sessions of chemo (180k/session) 2 years later, lady is a cancer survivor. I can only applaud 👏 the remarkable efforts by the family towards her journey.
