Today, I had the honour of officially commissioning the newly constructed Wambiti Sub-Location Assistant Chief’s Office in Waia/Kako Ward — a key milestone in strengthening grassroots administration, improving security coordination, and bringing government services closer to our people. This project reflects my commitment to ensuring that wananchi receive efficient, accessible, and reliable services right at the community level. A strong local administration is the foundation of effective service delivery, and this new office will provide a better working environment for our officers while enhancing coordination between the government and residents. Accompanied by the Mbooni NG-CDF team, I was proud to formally hand over this important facility to the people of Wambiti. Development remains my top priority, and I remain fully committed to fulfilling every promise I made to the people of Mbooni through impactful and transformative projects. I was honoured to be joined by Mbooni East Deputy County Commissioner Madam Monica Kang’ethe, Hon. Tin Tin, former Kiteta/Kisau Ward MCA Hon. Jackson Ngovi, among many other leaders, and the great people of Waia/Kako Ward who turned up to witness this important occasion. Today, I joined family, friends, leaders and the people of Utangwa in Kithungo/Kitundu Ward during the burial ceremony of the late Ken James Ndambuki, cousin to Makueni Governor Hon. Mutula Kilonzo Jnr. It was a moment of reflection, unity and comfort as we stood together with the bereaved family during this painful time. As leaders, we must continue walking with our people not only during moments of celebration, but also in moments of grief and sorrow. Today was a truly special and emotional Sunday at AIC Uviluni Church in Waia/Kako Ward. I had the rare and humbling opportunity to finally meet Gladys—the young lady whose touching testimony has been making rounds, sharing how my bursary program supported her through secondary school. What makes her story even more powerful is that, until today, we had never met. She had never shaken my hand, yet through the bursary support, she was able to complete her education and change the course of her life. This is the kind of impact that reminds me why we serve. Standing together in church today, in her rural home, was a deeply emotional moment—not just for us, but for the entire congregation. It was a true reflection of servant leadership: reaching lives, transforming futures, and making a difference even without personal interaction. Gladys shared her heartfelt gratitude, and I was truly moved by her story. Her journey is a strong reminder that education remains the greatest equalizer and the foundation upon which we can build a better future for our people. I want to reaffirm my commitment to the people of Mbooni—education will always remain a top priority. We will continue to support our students, empower families, and invest in programs that uplift our community. I also humbly ask for your continued prayers as I serve you. My promise remains firm: to lead with purpose, to serve with dedication, and to transform lives through practical and people-centered initiatives.
