@Fake_Glen_Helen Yea @Checkerz448 is the one who suggested a 6 & 6. With a 5 race Shootout for the top 20 from each region to crown a Champion. That is by far the most feasible idea I've heard for teams & riders.

Another great show today @Danielblair125 but I gotta ask. You are have been pretty vocal about ditching E/W & making 250SX a 17 round series. Would ClubMX still run a 4 rider team if combined? What would happen to smaller regional specific teams? There are so many questions.

@dbo360x @Danielblair125 So… @Danielblair125 here we go. SX format goes to SMX style 2 race format Night show 450 m1 250m1 Next e/w m1 Then moto 2’s. Teams can then divert funds to support 1-2 or more SMX next riders outside of the regular 250 program. Problem(s) solved.

@risklikemonty I 100% agree with this. I think if you do this you tweak the SX night show. Make it more like mx and SMX. Two moto format.

Supercross Hot take: 250s needs to be wide the fuck open. Fuck east vs west. Give us 17 fucking showdowns. No point out rule. Allows 450 guys looking for rides to keep their career going to come back down. Just balls to the wall 250s racing. Make SMX next a 3rd class. And run fucking east vs west with them and integrate them fully into the night show/tv package. Please tell me why the fucking 250 class is like the way it is... Like what the fuck are we doing here?

@DaleJr @HoosierTire @CARSTour I’ve raced bicycles there every Wednesday night during the summer for the last 12 years. It’s hard to explain but it’s a special place. Even for us in spandex 😂.

I went to Nashville Fairgrounds yesterday to test @HoosierTire for the upcoming @CARSTour race there on April 11th. I had a lot of fun. I hadn't ran a lap there since middle of 1999. I raced there a dozen times in the mid 1990s when it was a hotbed for Late Model Stocks. You'd have 30 cars for a weekly 100 lap feature. It was amazing. Somehow the Late Model Stock footprint receded to western Tennessee over the years. Anyhow, the track is fast. There are some weeper issues and a massive bump off turn 2 but it wasn't nothing of real concern. We also got a chance to test mufflers. The noise ordinance makes them a requirement. Speaking of which, Marcus Smith wants to build a sophisticated sound barrier around the track once the local government can get on board. Another conversation for another time. It was emotional to make those laps yesterday. Like visiting an old friend and realizing they still were the same person you always admired. Cant wait to have our Pro and Late Model Stock cars there next month. We plan to be in town at Tootsies on Thursday evening to promote the tour and hopefully allow some folks to meet our drivers. It's gonna be a big weekend. Hope to see ya there. If ya cant, you can catch it live on @FloRacing

People saying we wouldn’t deal with lappers with if we were all on stock bikes. It’s quite the opposite of the truth. The 450 class is actually easier to be competitive in its current state compared to the 250 class. Want to be competitive throughout a whole season with a do it your self effort on a 250, going against teams with endless R&D squeezing maximum power out of the small displacement. Good luck. On top of keeping engines and race bikes in safe hourly rotation. There’s not a whole lot of light at the end of that tunnel without a blank check. IMO 450 class needs to be non production based, with the baddest works bikes on planet earth. The beautiful thing about Supercross and Motocross is that skill and hard work will always prevail. And yes that would still shine with works bikes. Or maybe we just keep everything the way it is, because our sport is pretty sweet. 😉
