SOUTHLAKE TRAFFIC ALERT: Vehicle accident this evening resulted in an Atmos gas leak that has caused the closure of SL Blvd (1709) between Peytonville and Stone Lakes. Atmos is working right now and we will share updates from Atmos tonight and in the morning.

Southlake City Council celebrated the Lady Dragons Golf Team for their outstanding season and 2nd place at the UIL State Championship. We will do this again next year! Congratulations to the students and their coaches and families. Go Dragons!

Beautiful morning for over 500 runners and walkers at the 10th annual Run 4 Elise in Southlake. Congratulations to Lori and David Cerami and their Swim 4 Elise Foundation on a great event to continue to raise awareness of water safety.

Congratulations to the inductees to the Carroll ISD Athletics Hall of Honor! An incredible group of Dragons who helped build the Tradition in Southlake. They all shared inspiring and uplifting stories of hope and teamwork that led to success.

10th annual Run 4 Elise, hosted by the Swim 4 Elise Foundation to promote water safety, is Saturday May 9 at 8am at Gateway Church. You can sign up until 7:30am Saturday on site. Pick up t-shirts and swag bags at Cornerstone Wealth at Continental and Kimball until Friday 6pm.

The 2nd annual Southlake Carroll Dragons Day of Champions is coming up on Thursday May 14 at 7pm on the front steps of Southlake Town Hall. A joint event from Carroll ISD and the City of Southlake that celebrates the successes of our Dragons students in the 2025-26 school year.

Congratulations to Gary Fawks and Eric Wang and their families on their Oath of Office ceremony and joining Southlake City Council. Both Gary and Eric have volunteered and served Southlake in the past, and we look forward to working with them as members of our City Council team.

The City of Southlake welcomes TREON, a 10 year old company based in Finland that is a leader in AI solutions for logistics and diagnostics in industrial uses. Great to meet Joni Korppi and Tom Nordman visiting from Finland, and Mark Cooper and the Southlake office team.

Happy 101st Birthday to our friend Don Graves, who served in the US Marine Corps starting in 1942 as a flamethrower, and fought at Iwo Jima. The City of Southlake presented Don with a proclamation to celebrate his life of service. Thank you to the American Legion Southlake post.

Thanks to the Southlake Arts Council and APEX Arts League for bringing “Southlake Presents,” a new art exhibit to Southlake Town Hall, featuring artists from Southlake and neighboring communities, including Erin Murphy, Steven Squires, and Helen Comeau Neller.
