Today, I am officially announcing my candidacy for Secretary of the Libertarian Party.
Throughout my involvement with the Libertarian Party, I have been honored to serve in a variety of roles. My first opportunity to serve was with my state affiliate, LP Alabama, where I served first as Vice Chair and later as Executive Director. For the past year and a half, I have represented Region 2 on the National Committee, contributing to several key committees including the Ethics Committee and the Convention Oversight Committee. Additionally, I have authored half a dozen LNC respondent briefs for the National Judicial Committee just this term.
The Libertarian Party is at a crossroads, and strong leadership is essential to moving the party forward. That is why I am running as part of a team with Evan McMahon (Chair), Amanda Griffiths (Vice Chair), and Doug Knebel (Treasurer). I believe in Evan’s vision for the future of our party and am confident that our team will be the engine driving meaningful progress on the National Committee. We are a diverse group with differing perspectives, and while disagreements are inevitable, our commitment to hard work and putting the party first remains undaunted.
My familiarity with the policies and procedures of the National Committee, coupled with my technical expertise, qualifies me for the role of Secretary. If elected, I will dedicate myself to ensuring that the Libertarian Party remains compliant with all relevant policies and procedures. I am committed to maintaining the highest standards in the quality and accuracy of Party documents so that every member can trust in our work.
I humbly ask for your vote in Grand Rapids, not only for myself as Secretary but also for the rest of our team. Together, we will work diligently to advance liberty and strengthen the Libertarian Party.
