@CollinSherwin Yea. If you want to go to an extreme have it where both schools agree to play each other in MBB or other fall sports as well. Just imagine that Texas/Michigan MBB game in Orlando the day before the Pop Tarts bowl.

@McIntyre2K7 Blind draw is tough because of schools calculating/negotiating based on when they have finals, ease of travel, how much they'll get paid, ticket guarantees, etc. Maybe we have better bowl games but less of them, and make it financially viable no matter where you go.

We just might have killed bowl games as we know them. Which sucks because more college football is good, and bowl games can be outrageously fun. So if we ever fix the calendar of the sport, do they come back in some capacity?

@mckenzielaw @Bomb3r_B12Mafia Not defending the ACC but they saw what happened when the Big East turned down the deal in 2010. WVU went to the B12, ACC took Pitt, Cuse and Louisville. B1G took Rutgers. ACC didnt want what happened to the Big East to happen to them.

Teams were lining up games at the last minute during the COVID season so I still think this is possible.
