@Maat_777777 It also provides a possibility to do some good for a lot of people you may never even meet or know, provided you're not changed in ways you may end up regretting. I think making kids and teenagers media icons is pretty fucked, tbh. Especially considering Hollywood's track record.

I'm wondering about this today: Wanting to be rich and famous is usually seen as egocentric, and probably most of us would agree with that. But what if someone (me) wants to be rich and famous only to help others and have a greater impact to make the world a better place? What if someone (me) wants this because they see how imbalanced the world is and have tons of ideas on how to fix it, but no one listens, and that sometimes makes them feel meaningless and frustrated? What if it's not about the fame, but the impact and creative possibilities? Is that still just an overfed ego, or is it something different? 🤔
